OOhhh that car boot sounds great! I bet those clothes will go great, and with the early start and (hopefully) early finish, you should still be able to do a couple of hours of 'normal' work :D

I downloaded the file and it opened as a word doc. I then just clicked on save lots and assumed it had saved. When I tried to open it again, it said it was not a valid file name (opened it from the right hand box that has recent documents listed in when opened MS word). Tried searching whole comp for the file as was written in that box, but nothing. LOADS of temp internet files - all different names, but apart from sitting and opening every single one, I am unsure what to do. Have copied out the first section again, but don't know if I included it all that I did yesterday :(

OH has called me lastminute.com and refuses to take kids to BBQ as he wants to drink and says it's not a kids thing. Says it's my own fault as I've had weeks to do this. Won't even take them to the fish shop to buy some stuff for the green tank we have - DD said she wanted me to go, so he said he wouldn't take them. *sob* So having a little pity party here.

It may have saved in the part of your computer where downloads get stored. I can't think how to look for it without seeing it.

I have to go now but will leave computer on so if I have a brainwave I can get in touch.

Can you remember what you wrote well enough to redo it easily?

Question for ebay experts - I have a voucher for £100 off Citalia holidays but only valid when the minimum booking value is £500 for one person or £1000 for two people. Would this be worth ebaying? I had a search on ebay and couldnt find any others like it.

right have to go now as DS is doing his nut waiting to go to the shop.. see ya

Try downloading something else, then click 'save as' and see where it takes you.

    Good luck

I've just had my fastest ever Amazon sale! Listed at 12.48, SDN email received 13.17. Thank you mum (it came out of her carboot stuff) and thank you Amazon. I find Amazon utterly amazing.

Did you manage to find the file in the temp storage thingy, Sea? I do hope so.

My two have just taken some of their pocket money to the village fete. I wonder what truck they will be coming back with. I hope yours have been successful at the flower arranging today Seaxwyn.

I had thought about doing a car boot sale tomorrow - really did intend doing it, but have run out of energy today. I feel as though I could sleep for a week!

Not got much done essay wise, however I have got 4 loads of washing through and out onto the line, to take advantage of free drying outside today! So not a totally wasted day......And still the chance to do some this evening when the small ones are in bed..

4 loads, wow! I did two loads - and hoovered the stairs and cleaned out the mice...

The flower show was fun. The girls won a few things, and the 99 year old neighbour got several. I got a jar of jam and a tray of busy lizzies for my trouble - the latter will beautify my stall at the carboot tomorrow.

Yup I'm definitely doing it. The car is half packed, the kids are primed, I need to go and finish packing and hunt out the thermoses and coat hangers and other carboot essentials.

Best of all, my mum gave me £10 in change from her change jar, the fee is £10 so I have already broken even!
