The kids will be fine - just think, we were sent out and told not to come back until dark when we were young just to give our parents a break. Or was that just me

Glad that some work has been done. I have got a client tomorrow so will be working too. I don't normally see people at the weekend, but, hey, if she is prepared to pay, then who am I to argue!!!

I hope you have a productive weekend, and enjoy the flower show.

Finally called them in at 10. I'm very happy for them to play out late really.

Good news about the Saturday client. OH's loss of work has motivated me to work hard this weekend. I recently did a mini SOA just for me, which assumed that he would be paying for food and other costs. If it's all down to me again I need to pull my finger out and as I'm very lucky to get plenty of work, it's really perverse that I sit here after hour after hour not doing it! Onwards and upwards.

    Hi fellow Sea :hello:

Well, I've started the wonderful procrastinating already, so my anti-procrastination challenge for today is:

*complete AT LEAST 4 sections of my form and type them up.

To do this I will get my timer and work for at least 3 x sessions this am and 5 x sessions this afternoon. In my breaks I will tidy the house, play with the kids, bake some cookies, do the washing and then ironing, list some bits of ebay and take photos AGAIN of my ebay stuff (as the original photos are all blurry).

    How about you? And chev?

Hope you all have a productive day. I am off now to see a client (well, only to the cabin in my garden, but still "off"!!).

    Catch up later....:D

Feel like giving up - the application form I've been writing up my threshold stuff on won't open, tried searching, not coming up, all work I did yesterday is GONE. Feel like crying.

Did you open the form up in Word? If so when you go to open it again, don't forget to change the default ending from word, all files, as this will bring up non word documents that can be opened in word, if you see what I mean.

Alternatively is it an online form? If so you may have it cached in your temporary internet files folder.

Sorry if it really has gone. I have done the first question out of 4, and I even think it is right as well (long calculation)! Miracles will happen!! (If you knew how bad at maths I am, then you would understand this!).

Isn't just typical that the one weekend when I HAVE to spend time doing this essay, it is beautiful sunshine! GRRRRRRRR!

I've looked in the temporary files and searched for just the download title, but it's just not there and I don't understand. Gutted. Have restarted it, but now starting from 0. :(

Well done on completing your first 25%! :D What are your targets for today (mine have now changed grrr - will be aiming for 50% + completed).

Well question 2 is relatively simple, because it is only taking the answer from q1 and putting it into another (thankfully simpler) calculation. So if I can get that done today I will be well pleased.

    Hello Sea and chev

You are both doing better than me, I did 1 hour 40 mins last night but nothing yet today.

Sea that is really terrible that you have lost your work. It can't have disappeared, that is impossible. Where were you saving it? I'm quite experienced at hunting for lost files and my OH is a computer wizard so if we can help with suggestions please let me know!

I have 99% decided to do a carboot sale tomorrow if the weather holds. Even though it's not so lucrative as working on an hourly rate basis, it's morale boosting to have an instant influx of cash and I have so much stuff clogging up my bedroom it would be cheering to get the space back. My mum has given me some ace stuff - brand new clothes in sizes 18-22 which I know will go like hot cakes.

Good luck with the essay chev and the form Sea and maybe see you on here later.
