Hi India, re amounts of formula. Take a look at the back of your tin, there is a rough guide on there.
HOWEVER, these numbers are for an average baby (anybody know someone with one of those?!) so don't get too hung up on it.
I agree with everyone else, just feed on demand as much as she wants and if she's screaming and won't be settled top her up with a bit of formula. Bear in mind though that your breasts will never be empty while you're feeding her (although they will feel like that). Milk is produced on demand, so as long as she's sucking the milk should be flowing. Best to make sure she feeds off both sides though to stimulate your supply.
Good luck. I miss breast feeding so much but Imogen decided she'd rather have a bottle full-time once I went back to work ;(
I'm going away for 2 nights tonight - first time I've been away from her. Keep your fingers crossed I'm not a gibbering wreck by morning. I'm supposed to be tutoring PhD students in transferable skills!!

Good luck Lu, it's hard leaving them, but you'll be fine xx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Charlotte would have been around 10½-11lb if I'd gone term
Hubby was a 10½lb baby, so they think she got big genes from him!
I bought her a swim suit this morning, so she can go to the swimming baths.
Good luck leaving baby Lu T. I'm sure it'll be fine.
I haven't left Charlotte at all, apart from popping out on quick errands between feeds. She point blank refuses to have a bottle, but I've got to admit I haven't really pushed her with one. Partly because I love breastfeeding and partly to use it as an excuse why I can't leave her with relativesHere I go again on my own....0 -
We haven't left DS yet - he's always with one of us...
I know we'll have to work on that, but we don't have any relatives nearby. The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -

Your scan is really clear isn't it CG? Has s/he got her hand up by her face? I bet you can't wait for the 4d one, they're amazing (I didn't have one but have seen a few of them, and they're so clear). It's so exciting being pregnant...I really quite miss it.
(Of course, having a new baby is lovely too lol!)
