Hi all, thanks for all your messages of support/concern. Its really good to have other people to bounce queries off..

Went to the drs, even though I thought most of the spots had gone this morning. The nurse checked him all over and said there were two that may or may not be CP. Called in one of the drs who said" that boy looks far to healthy to have CP", anyway checked him over and said no it wasnt.:j So they gave me a letter and have dropped LO off at nursery and just got into work for a few hours.... Felt a bit of a wally but its better to be safe than sorry isnt it!!

Mind you when I dropped him off they told me that another LO was sent home yesterday and they have German measles so its all going on at that nursery!!!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

went to doctors yesterday because i have a lump on my boob for a week now, was pretty sure it was a blocked milk duct but was getting worried. Doctor confirmed that it was and that i have a temperature and she was surprised that i wasn't sick. she says its really high up - near my armpit, and quite swollen so shes put me on strong antibiotics which i don't like taking but i will nevertheless. Does anyone have any other tips to help get rid of it?
Try massaging the lump as you feed stroking it downwards towards the the nipple and keep feeding on that side as it will help.

a child hayfever remedy such as piriton is excellant for stopping the itching if it does turn into full blown chicken pox i gave it to my son and he didn't itch once!!!!!

Aargh. He's just had his fourth dirty nappy today and every nappy change is a war. :wall:He wants to go off exploring or at least not be on his back for longer than a second and I'm trying desperately to keep the mess from going everywhere. I say no loud and clear :naughty:and plonk him back down, he's crying and using all his muscles to get away, while I wipe bottom, legs, hands and changing mat, then he gets away and we start again.
Does this stop (will he learn that nappy change time is waiting time) or is this just the norm from now on? frown.gifHow do you manage?

By winning each and every time until DS gave up!
Honestly, on more than one occasion he's ended up on his front with his ankles still in my hands as he's wriggled round. He's also almost fell off the changing table more than once - again caught by his ankles - and bad mother that I am I have not been too quick to put him straight back;)

    Can you distract him Agutka?

I give Elliot either a remote control or my mobile phone and suddenly he becomes fascinated, and is like an angel - for about a minute anyway...

I've got a few cuddly toys next to the changing mat. Everytime I do a nappy change, I ask Charlotte "which nappy ted today?" She picks one and she cuddles it and talks to it while I'm busy changing her.
Here I go again on my own....

I give Ellie her nappy to hold (Yeah the clean one!!! ) ok it goes in her mouth but it keeps her amused then I tell her Mummy needs it to put on her and she allows me no probs!!
I do agree though it is a nightmare at nappy changing time once they start wriggling until you find your own distraction.

    Good luck :rotfl:
