    Hi Zoom

My mum swears by a paste she calls 'lasses' (sp?). Sounds a bit like the stuff CG is recommending but she gets it from a traditional chemist (whatever that is!!). It looks like Sudocrem but thicker and clears stuff up overnight. She used it on me and my brother when we were kids and still has a jar kicking around!

CG - why not cloth nappies? Imogen's in real nappies and we find it really easy. It's not for everyone though. ;)

Just bought our Mother's Day pressies as we'll be on holiday on the day (4th year running  ). I've bought both nanas a knitting pattern book (different ones). They both like knitting but some of their pattern choices are questionable. I reckoned we could get gorgeous clothes for Imogen (and newly announced niece/nephew) and they could enjoy making them. :money: :money: Works for everyone I reckon.

Any more MSE ideas for Mother's Day?

Joshua had a really bad nappy rash attack once. His bum was all sore and weeping.

The best cure was fresh air! As long as it's warm, leave the nappy off when you put them down for a nap, and put a folded towel underneath to catch any accidents.

Same goes for playing - easier if they will sit on a towel and play, but not so easy if they go wandering all over!
Here I go again on my own....

Also in case some of you haven't seen this, the March issue of Pregnancy & Birth magazine comes with a whopping £13 worth of Huggies vouchers (for wipes and newborn nappies, but most Tesco and Asda stores should take them for anything!). The mag is £2.70 and is likely to sell out very quickly :D

Just bumping this in case anybody else missed it!! Cheers for the tip-off, D. :T

Typing with one hand as baby has come down with his first bad cold :( and won't be put down anywhere! Up every hour last night. Got the mother in law up for half term today as well! Typical!

Won't be around much next week so catch up with you all soon. xx

Lol, I've just interrupted him indoors' viewing of the footie to say in a loud voice, "Blimey, just read on mse that mother's day is REALLY EARLY this year.... 2nd March!!!" - problem being when he watches footie, you're never really sure how much he registers anything you say. Actually, come to think about it, not sure that he registers much any time :rotfl:

Can I ask a quick Q about babies eyes? Poppy's are still blue, a really bright blue that I would love her to keep! She's 4 months old today and I was wondering if they will stay that colour now? The thing is, DH and I both have hazel eyes - its my dad and his mum with blue ones . DH did try and explain the odds but it all got a bit too technical :o:rotfl:.

My DD eyes changed from a lovely blue when she was 2 years old  . Now they seem to change daily with the light and can be grey, green or hazel!
