Mine came back at 7 1/2 months but I was exclusively BF for seven months. I did read somewhere though that if you bottle feed, the first one can come straight after the lochia (i.e. no gap in between).
:rotfl: Four babies! I like the reasoning.0 -

I did mixed feeding from 3-5 months and thought my period would come back when I wasn't breast feeding every feed, but they didn't come back until I totally stopped breast feeding.
My first period was a nightmare - it lasted 3 weeks  The next ones have been very heavy but they only last 2 days. Sorry if that is TMIHere I go again on my own....0 -
I bf Jack unsucessfully for 2 weeks then he was bottle fed. My lochia lasted 4.5 weeks and 5 days later my period started. I was not impressed I can tell you......... And they came back regularly every month until the unexpected happened at 6 months........
DH was kept waiting until my lochia and period finished and I think the new year was christened as I didnt want him feeling neglected.0 -
I got mine 6 weeks after the ceasarian, not too bad I thought, very light. But then, on the same day (year ago) my last period was before baby I got another one. And I thought I was going to bleed to death . My lochia was sooo much lighter... Must mention it to the doc next time I see her...
As for my weighty weight, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to lose the baby tummy, rather than just fill it up with fat instead! I'm considering going back on slimfast for quick results, but from my previous attempt I know it will all just come back at the first sight of chocolate...

Check out all the glam mums and cute babes in the avatars! :T (And contrary to what you might think, I did not give birth to a mouse! :rotfl:)0

People keep commenting that at first glance, my avatar looks like me with a giant right boob. I have cropped/zoomed a bit, so that hopefully it looks more like a baby's head than a swollen bustical."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
