The following rant has been prompted by the actions of someone who lives near to us.
She is in her thirties (I guess), lives in a nice house, and has a 57 reg Punto in good condition. She also has one of those annoying signs in the back - "Little Princess on Board"
She obviously wants other drivers to be careful when they are near her.

Why then, has she been using the spacesaver wheel on the front drivers side for the past few months (at least)? She also uses it on the motorway, and isn't a slow driver.
Some people have no idea:(

If you don't know this neighbor well enough to talk to them to suggest they shouldn't be driving around on a spacesaver.

Why then have you been paying her, her car, where she drives and how she drives so much attention?

I like how the implication here is that he is stalking his neighbour or something.

More likely, one day he encountered the neighbours car on the motorway and noticed it. For me seeing a car on the motorway with a spacesaver sets off warning signals, being overtaken by a car on the motorway by a car with a spacesaver sets off the full blown idiot alarm, both of these will make me pay more attention to that car and what it's doing, at which point I'd likely look at the driver or the reg and realise it's whats-her-name from next door.

Likewise if someone on my street is running a car in a dangerous condition, or driving badly, it's something I'd want to keep an eye on so I can figure out how best to minimise the risk to my family and my property, for example ensuring that the company car is always parked in the street with the private car in the driveway, thus using the company car as a shield to protect my garden fence!*

* I actually do this, but it's more to do with the occasional passing drunk driver rather than anyone local. The old lady over the road from me recently had her garden wall demolished in just such an incident and they barely missed my car parked on the street.
