Got my account opening letter with my user ID and activation code that you use to register.
But was unable to register.
First couple of times I tried to log in the system crashed before I could put my password in.
Eventually able to put my password in, but when I typed my activation key in it just went to a 'page not found' message.
Just tried to log in again and I'm in, so it must have accepted the registration code even though it threw me out. If I click on customer home page it takes me to a 'page not found', which is a bit silly, you don't expect dead links having logged into an account.
No balance showing on my account. Their letter says there is a delay opening my account. So could be a while before the account has been credited with the £1 I opened it with and is up and running.I came, I saw, I melted0 -

I sent them a cheque on yhe 27th of July and received my welcome letter today. They have said that for interest purposes they will pay me from when they rec'd my cheque though.
I managed to clear the hurdle of the first screen but when it came to activation I failed miserably. Tried another couple of times but it keeps telling me that some of the info which I have inputed is incorrect. Now it tells me that it is not possible to view my account details at this time. I must have really upset it.
As a last resort, I can always use their branch finder facility and then go and purchase one of them Blackberry thingies to find out when the civil disturbance is due to take place so that I can make a withdrawl.0 -
Has anyone actually reported their issues?! I certainly shall if I experience any. Give the coders a break0

Quick service from the Derbyshire, sent my form in 6 days ago and received welcome letter today.
Same initial login errors as Stompa and Snowman but other than that all up and running.
Did a £1 transfer in from an external account and now waiting to see how long it will take to appear.0 -
I did a £1 test transfer yesterday afternoon and it was showing cleared in the account this morning marked as "FP in"( or something like that!).
Less than a week from sending initial cheque to receiving welcome letter too.0 -
I've just applied online, but after clicking the final button it suddenly took me to a Log-in page. Obviously I can't log-in because I only applied 10 seconds ago and haven't been given an activation code. There is no Acknowledgement or Welcome or What happens Next page, so does that mean my application has been received or not?
Do I just wait for something in the post? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yes, when first experienced. I then received an email from them informing me that it was now working. It isn't.
Emailed them again and they said they'd get back to me when it's fixed. That was 5 days ago and it's still an unusable mess.
