Strange, the bonus on my Netsaver 1 ended on the 30th Nov, I closed the account on the 30th online and the amount transferred to the Netsaver 7 was exactly the balance of the old account. Is the "adjustment" only for closing to an external account?

I transferred all but £1 from Issue 1 to Issue 3 on 30th Nov. I don't have any 'interest adjustments' on either of those accounts.

...the amount that got credited to my linked account was lower than the balance shown prior to closure. They they made an 'Interest Adjustment' and reduced the balance on closure ! Small amount, but I've asked them to explain why I got penalised on an account that had 'matured'. Anyone else noticed this ?

Yes, but I only lost a penny. :)

Closure/transfer requested Friday, completed Saturday. I hadn't expected to see the transfer till Monday. ("next working day")

I've figured out what is happening...

The adjustment seems to only be made if you made a withdrawal on the day before interest was credited. Interest credited on the 30th was calculated on the account balance ending on 28th. So if you made a withdrawal on the 29th they are making an adjustment to reclaim the interest on that withdrawal.

Doesn't seem to be anything to do with closing the account.

    Hi everyone
My NetSaver 1 has also been transfered to Issue 9, 2.36% gross until 28/02/14.
Is this an ok rate in the current crap climate? Also is this rate fixed or can they reduce it, can i withdraw some funds?
    thanks
