he was not telling the truth a jsa agreement can be reviewed and changed anytime. everytime someone has an appointment at the jobcentre it gets reviewed(by you and the jobcentre) and possibly changed. if the provider can change it then it is worth asking them. the provider could ask why you want to change it. so try and think of a believable reason. relying on public transport could be one.he said it cant be changed but we will see when i go to see the 'provider'0 -
the job centre is only for signing on now and nothing to do with job searching so the agreement cant be change, and I am only saying what I was told and if you think thats wrong then we are all being told different things which is not right.donnajunkie wrote: »he was not telling the truth a jsa agreement can be reviewed and changed anytime. everytime someone has an appointment at the jobcentre it gets reviewed(by you and the jobcentre) and possibly changed. if the provider can change it then it is worth asking them. the provider could ask why you want to change it. so try and think of a believable reason. relying on public transport could be one.
Public transport wont wash I think with anyone as there are plenty of people who work shifts so the job centre said0 -
true if you are on the work programme there is nothing you can do about it at the moment. you may well get an appointment at the jobcentre in the future though. when you do you and the adviser will review your agreement and be able to change it.the job centre is only for signing on now and nothing to do with job searching so the agreement cant be change, and I am only saying what I was told and if you think thats wrong then we are all being told different things which is not right.

you will certainly get one if at the end of your time on the course if you dont get a job out of it. i dont think provider take much notice of the agreement anyway. i've had a provider try to get me to go for a night shift job in the past.donnajunkie wrote: »you may well get an appointment at the jobcentre in the future though. /QUOTE]

Your work programme adviser can vary your jobseekers agreement but as they get paid a weekly sum for everyweek you are in employment up to the 2 years you are with them they will be keen to have the agreement as broad as possible.
They are supposed to provide in work support as even if you start a job and then become unemployed you go back to work programme for the rest of the 2 year period and they will not receive payment unless you are working apart from the small sum paid when you first join work programme.
If you are still unemployed after 2 years you will go back to job centre and it looks likely there will be some sort of mandatory work at this stage but I don't think there are any details yet.0 -
yes they will no doubt do as you say. however it does not benefit them if they push you into something you are unsuitable for. doing this means it is more likely to end before the bonus kicks in.Your work programme adviser can vary your jobseekers agreement but as they get paid a weekly sum for everyweek you are in employment up to the 2 years you are with them they will be keen to have the agreement as broad as possible.

they can't push you into anything if you 1. dont get the interview or 2. dont even get the jobdonnajunkie wrote: »yes they will no doubt do as you say. however it does not benefit them if they push you into something you are unsuitable for. doing this means it is more likely to end before the bonus kicks in.0
