i just phoned them and guess what? shes on holiday. i have to call back in 10 minutes coz the person who can deal with it was busy on the phone.0

finally got to speak to someone on the phone and it seems i was not due a phone call today because i had already been in this week to do jobsearch. apparently i dont have regular appointments with an adviser on the work programme even though i had been told otherwise. when i was in on monday i was given an appointment but was told that was for jobsearch. when this was mentioned over the phone he said that is the only appointment on the system that i am required to do at the moment.
if i never have one on one appointments then i am wondering how i am going to get booked in for all the sessions she has put me down for.0 -
Whenever these outfits mess you around, ALWAYS make a formal complaint via their own complaints procedure and via the Jobcentre and let it be known that if the response is unsatisfactory you will continue the complaint up the food chain.0

Don't worry about it.

It seems they're getting their act together, saying one thing doing another.
Hopefully they will try to contact you in a reasonable way & it should be ok.
Unanswered phone calls are not provable, on either side, so they should send you a letter.
If they raised query with DWP they would need proof, your signature for pre-arranged phone call & follow up letter from them.
If they tried to contact you by phone, they should follow-up by letter.
If they haven't got proof, you would win on appeal.0 -
I wouldn't over analyze.

as far as appeals go the impression i get is its guilty until proven innocent not the other way round. so i would have to prove they didnt call. if they were really upto no good they could easily call and hang up before i have a chance to answer.0 -

DWP Decision Maker won't rubber stamp a sanction just because provider says they called.0
