true but you cant do anything obvious to harm your chances because they may refer you for a sanction.

just wondering if anyone knows what's going to happen to those with dependants when they get to the point that they are referred to the work program?

The Lone parent advisor I saw the other week didn't know if they would make provisions for people with care responsibilities, but she said they are being drip fed information so has anyone got any new information about it yet?

I will attend any interview they think they can get me.

I had a call today (who I found out after to be the provider as I looked up the number) which I answered and no one spoke then they put the phone down. Very professional!! I will wait to see if they call me tomorrow to let me know when I have to go to see them

Yeah it does seem that way. I feel really sorry for the advisor's at the moment, they are doing their job with one hand tied behind their backs, everything is changing but no one is telling them how :(

Advisers can not tell you a lot about work programme as there is no set programme. Providers can decide on an individual basis how much support they offer depending on the individual - this document lists providers and the minimum service they have agreed to deliver
    http://www.dwp.gov.uk/docs/provider-minimum-service-delivery.pdf
In practice a lot of providers are still organising themselves and it may be several months before they fully deliver what they have promised

ok so just had the call from the provider. Tuesday at 9am! Got to bring a CV with me an wait for it............................details of 3 jobs I'd like to apply for!! Is that just stupid or what? Surely I wouldn't have had time to start my job search that day so wouldn't know what I was going to apply for. I am guessing I am going to have to save 3 jobs over from the day before. I bet they are going to tell me 'how to apply'!!!
