    Hi everyone!

It is ages since I have posted on here. (((rchddap1))) What a scary experience. I hope everything goes well for you and Lily in the future. My brother had a scare with his son last year. He stopped breathing and the ambulance was there in seconds. He was rescuscitated and is now a strapping 2-y-old. We are quick to criticise our NHS but I don't know of a cae when it wasn't there in a real emergency. The staff are wonderful and they have so much abuse to put up with.

I had a parcel delivered this week. I won a competition! It must have been so long ago. I didn't work from July - Sept so I entered loads of competitions then. Finally a prize! A home care kit from Ecover. Well, it's a start :o

I'm off to brave the sales shortly. DS wants to spend some of his many JJB vouchers on new football boots so I'll take him along. He is presently playing BUZZ with two of his friends. What a great game. We've had some fun with it over Christmas.

I had to dash out this morning with my wheely bin too RZL! I was lying half awake in bed and I heard the rumble of the bin wagon. I raced downstairs in just my dressing gown and dragged it out. What I sight I must have been! It is blowing a gale and raining, I was only just awake with bed-head hair and my pink fluffy robe on, dragging along a wheely bin. No wonder the bin men stopped! I'm surprised they didn't just run!

Right, off to sort out the washing that has just finished. Have a great day all. I'm determined to get back on the OS wagon so I'll try to post more regularly now.

Recovering a little from this horrible cold but have a horrible cough now.

Did a load of washing but a white got colour run so rewashing now. I have some colour run liquid so fingers crossed. If anyone knows an OS way, I would appreciate it for the future.

OH did the shopping yesterday and well stocked for New Year. He is off until Wednesday and staying at home, resting. We went away from Christmas, so a break is welcome. Hope the neighbours don't disturb us. We are putting our place on the market as soon as we can after New Year has been and gone and things go back to normal. We are wanting to downsize and get another home elsewhere.

OK - so it's not monkfish for dinner. Just remembered we have pizza brought home from the italian last night (DS couldn't eat it all) and broccoli soup in the freezer. So it's leftover night for us.

Still need to brave the supermarket though - I've run out of washing powder and I do need to get stuff for sun/mon.

Do you think I could break with tradition and NOT have steak pie for new years day? Or will I be disowned by all scots? GrannyBroon - would you approve?

Cbeebies live is on at the newcastle arena on 2nd jan - considered taking the kids but it would cost about £60 for the 3 of us to go !!!!! I'll put a video on instead! Stingy mum.

    Hi Yall,

dlb my 'virtual' stopped smoking jar stands at £3,500:j and I'm just coming up to my 2nd anniversary. One thing I would say is that IME I didn't 'get-over-it' or feel anybetter for giving up until the end of the first year. I found the giving up sites and forums far too optomistic at how quick you progress IMO. I say this because my aunt told me it would take a good year and if she hadn't told me this I think I may have given up thinking I had already failed. Stick with it - you CAN do it.

    rchddap1 'HUGS'

loopyloulou We've done loads of these nights, infact we are hosting one at someone elses house on New Years Eve. You've done right by keeping the food simple. Even if the event doesn't go to plan (acording to the instructions) and the crime cannot be solved without cheating most of the fun is in the dressing up and playing the characters. Kick back and enjoy it.

Grey, damp and blustery here in the emids, so an ideal time to strip beds and have a mini emergancy whip round to keep things grot free until Mrs MATH is dispatched back to the coalface and the MATHLETTS back to a local institute of learning.

We spent the day and my Mum & Dad's yesterday for our second Christmas Day. I think my Mum may have been under the inpression we hadn't eaten since Lent so 'did a bit extra' hence we are just eating 'bits' today! LOL

Mrs MATH is making nosies about clearing out her craft room this afternoon and maybe I could show willing and sort our my sheet music and while I'm at it could I rearrange the piano and organ console so we can open the door. Why anyone would want to open the door and blunder about 'MY' music room is beyond me. Maybe if it brightens up I may go for a walk up the woods instead! LOL

Whateve you are doing have a good day, stay warm and Keep dry

Yes I saw Swap Shop last night and it was a good nostalgiafest:)

Sorry to hear about your missing bits - it is so annoying having to go back, takes the shine off getting something new.

I started my SC on medium, then turned it down to low after and hour or two. It will take forever otherwise.
