    Goodmorning everyone,

rchddap1 - I'm so happy that the outcome was a happy one for your darling Lily. How traumatice it must of been for you all. I would call your dr and let her know what happened if it was me.

Snowy, CM & Kyle Get well soon & to any others who are ill.

Well I went shopping this morning. Got myself a pr of jeans & trousers with the voucher I got for Xmas. ;) Thought I'd need them for over there in Feb. :D I expect it will be too cold for shorts. Also got a few bits and pieces in the sale, undies, bra etc. Was very pleased with the prices. I went in looking for a present for DGS and completly forgot why I was in there and before I knew it I was over in the ladies section.

We are going in for a big load on Tuesday so will look again for him. Well off to serve out tea. Hope you all have a lovely day. Pop back later. Byeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Didn't know what to look out for really. It was obvious to us that our little lady wasn't herself. Took her to the GP initially who said that she was over eating....she was pale (practically white) , floppy, lethargic, grunting, refusing feed and was bringing up bright yellow sick. We knew something was wrong and so took the next step in going to A&E. These symptoms developed over a very short space of time.

Totally agree, my friend did this, she was labelled as an irated - over-acting mum by the health visitor, she took him straight to the Birmingham Childrens Hospital and turned out he had the same. That was nearly 10yrs ago
Big Hugs to you and the family,

Hope your feeling better snowy owl

Im very tired, had another rough night sleep due to the ear/head pain. Had to lay my head on a towel for the amount of gunk seeping out of my ear, not pleasant I know. At least I can enjoy the next 3days off

My son came down at about 11pm complaining of his gum hurting. He had a bone graft done in Sept (he was born with a cleft lip) and had some bone implanted in his pallette to make it stronger for his teeth to grow properly, there is a large amount of loose gum flopping over his teeth. It doesn't look nice, and he says it hurts the most when trying to eat. I will attempt to call teh Birmingham Childrens Hospital this morning for some advise. Dont think the dentist will be of much use if I was to take him there. Daren't take him to our local A&E for fear they will remove it and cause a problem for the correction ref the op.

OH's car as finally collected, get this - around 3am. The bloke was working nights and could only get up whilst he was working as he was using the works truck! Feel sorry for OH having gone to work after managing 2hr sleep. But at least its gone,

Best be off and shower, before the babysitter arrives.

    Take care all
Have a lovely day - Love as usual xxx

really pleased to hear baby Lilly is on the mend agree with all the other posters you need to trust your own instincts we had the same sort of thing with DS the doc said he had asthma at 2 months old he got worse so we took him to hospital he had RSV virus and ended up being fed through a tube and quite dangerously ill but he is 12 now and is fine

rchddap1, I echo what everyone else has said and am really pleased that Lily is on the mend. It does serve as a reminder to trust our own instincts.

    Morning everyone :)

My Oz move has oficially gone back by 8 months. Trying to be positive (:o) it means I have a whole year clear to save. I am starting this month with a budget of £20 per week for shopping. My freezer is full and I really have no need to buy except for the basics and a few meals, it would be good if I could get below this as well. Oh starts his new job on the 3rd and the only expenditures we have this year are kids birthday parties (presents are already bought for b'days and christmas) and a small holiday in the summer so it is full steam ahead.

I have promised to take ds to see a "Night at the museum this morning". He has been told to take some of his christmas choccies instead of buying things there. Oh's Grandma gave us £150 as a family for christmas so I have given them £15 each and told them the rest is going to go into a rainy day pot so we can treat ourselves to things like this.

Dinner tonight is a hm curry. Have a lovely day everyone and sorry for waffling on.
