    Good morning everyone,

Have now read the rest of the thread, so more ((HUGS)) to Lily, and ((HUGS)) to all the poorly people - Crazychik, have you not been to the doctors yet? Hope the pain and 'gunk' ease soon x

Well the weather here is horrible, so i think it will be another day at home (no money either!!) but the children did get Toys R Us for christmas, so they should be able to find something to amuse themselves!!!! No need to do any baking at the mo either, as we were given so many sweets and biscuits, we have enough to last!!!
So, plans for today are to do a little cleaning, and lots of relaxing!!! Not very exciting, but nice not to be running around, and although im not going to start my diet until 2nd Jan, im going to try to stop spending money now, so if we dont go out, we shouldnt be spending anything!!!!
Going to use up some bread rolls from the freezer for lunch, and im having salmon (reduced in Asda xmas eve) and veg for dinner, but not sure what to do the children yet, as they wont eat salmon or much veg!!!!
Right, im off for a nice bath, hope everyone has a lovely day - oh, and happy birthday Master Shez and loopyloulou!!!!!
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You may have noticed that we don't have a blue bar any more. The new one is in the same place though and still has the collections and challenges links:-

Its a horrid morning pelting with rain and I have got to go out!!!!!!!!!!

CC checked last night.........OMG revealed a bit of out of control spending which now has to be paid back, guess my OD will suffer for a little while..... its cheaper than the extortionate interest rate on the CC, aiming to pay it off as quickly as poss, and putting the CC in the deed box, strictly cash from now on!!!!!

off for a :coffee: before I go out...............
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

rchdapp and DH and Lily, so sorry to hear what a terrible time you have gone through. I will be praying for a full recovery for Lily. As Pink winged says it puts all my problems into their true perspective, there is nothing more precious than your children.

Talking of whom, DD is on her way to Prague for New Year, lucky thing. I hope she'll be warm enough!

DS is off to his GF's mother's wedding. She is marrying a man whose name begins with C which is funny because all her 6 children have names beginning with C. My DS also has a name beginning with C, we tell him that they will never let him escape.:rotfl:
  • Morning :hello:

rchddap1, I'd been wondering where you'd got to. What a horrible scary experience for yourselves and little Lily. It's great that she seems to be over the worst and regaining her alertness, I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers. ((((Hugs)))) to you.

Well I went shopping this morning. Got myself a pr of jeans & trousers with the voucher I got for Xmas. ;) Thought I'd need them for over there in Feb. :D I expect it will be too cold for shorts.
    :rotfl::rotfl:

Am still suffering from very sore throat which has now gone all phlegmy (sorry TMI!) so besides the Lemsip and Merocaine lozenges, I've been self-treating with the very OS concoction of lemon juice, runny honey, hot water and whisky (wish I had a bottle of Bells or something, this is not how I intended to decimate my expensive 16yo single malt!)

Still in my jimjams and dressing gown at the moment, but must get dressed and go and have a look downstairs, I heard a bin lorry collecting this morning from the flats opposite so I need to look in my block's bin store and see if it is empty - we normally have 2 collections a week but what with Christmas we haven't had one since Tuesday 19th  and what with three times people's ordinary rubbish, Christmas food and present packaging, and (oh joy) the fact that somebody moved into their flat last week, it's got to the point where the bin store is chock-a-block and I haven't been able to put any rubbish out! As I put 5 pieces of flatpack furniture together yesterday, I have quite a lot of packaging piled up on my living room floor...

Am going to pop up to Borough Market later, as I fancy some posh cheese, and also need to pay a visit to Richer Sounds for some hi-fi cables.

    Hope all are well

    Rzl xx
