I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that geneer will pretend that this post doesn't exist...
geneer only has two tactics when he's out on a limb. he either ignores the post (or poster - he has me on ignore because he cant take his own medicine) or he gets abusive in the hope that the question is fogotten (case in note on this thread with Heyman).
He doesnt work at KFC he works in a call centre at RBS/HBOS and can only get on the internet at lunch in their breakout area.0 -

No problem. Shame I can't say the same for you.
Congrats on the KFC job by the way, nice that they let you use the Free Wi-Fi at lunchtime too, must take the edge off the rest of the afternoon in front of the deep fat fryer. Never mind...
4 posts now.
And a highly original "fast food worker" joke to boot.

So, anyone else notice the tendencies of bulls when they find themselves up against unassailable arguments?
how utterly predictable.0 -

Yep, your argument is unassailable, JD was right in 2005 about what would happen in 2007 (ignoring everything he said before 2005 and what he said in 2009). Couldn't undermine that argument at all (and don't look so surly to customers in future - we pay your wages).0 -

Wait, let me get this straight.....
JD was wrong in 2004 about 2005 and 2006...... And only partially right in 2005 about 2007 (after all, prices did rise 5% in 2007), he was right about 2008 (although he called it for 2007) but wrong about the amount of falls in 2008, and completely wrong about the cause of those falls. Then he called for huge falls again in 2009, 2010 and 2011, whilst prices have actually risen markedly from early 2009 when he made the call. His 2009-2011 prediction of 40% to 50% falls was made after the announcement of QE and low interest rates, yet prices actually rose 10% instead, putting him a massive 60% out from what actually happened.
And geneer tries to spin this guy as the master of prediction???:rotfl:
Just..... wow.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

You lot still harping on about Jonathan Davis.
Good grief, the bloke must get your backs up....and theres generally only one reason for that. He was right in some respects and you absolutely hate it!!0 -

There's another reason possible, which is that they passionately feel that he wasn't right and they want to argue their point.0 -

True.
Weird way to argue your point though. I'm not sure the KFC stuff really helps with the debate.
Either way, I've never seen quite such an argument thats so involved over whether someone was right or not. Clearly this guy gets peoples backs up, and I can only assume its because he did call some parts correctly.0 -

You assume wrong.
It's because he's been categorically wrong throughout, his "advice" is dangerous, and the man is a joke. It's a disgrace that he get's even a minute of airtime.
OK, to be fair, he only gets on TV for the same reason that Jeremy Kyle's guests get on TV, so we can all laugh at the crazy person, but still....
Some naive ignorant person could be conned by that snake-oil salesman and get suckered into financially ruining their lives like the hpc crowd have been.
Still waiting for the crash that's never coming, and enriching their landlords year after year after year.
