here is a random geneer (TM) sentence too:

"The story was a set differential on the sport knowledge"

peakoil, you will need to do better than just a sentence generator to counter geneer's 'unassailable' arguments.

Therefore, introducing the random geneer (TM) paragraph generator : http://watchout4snakes.com/CreativityTools/RandomParagraph/RandomParagraph.aspx
Jonathan Davis discusses the anomaly. The cooled scene squashes Jonathan Davis beside a reliable illiterate. Jonathan Davis dictates Geneer. The broad wind frowns an executive opposite a patronized slang. Geneer worships Jonathan Davis. Geneer treads a faint electron.

    ha. brilliant! :D

though it didn't use the words 'bull' or 'meme' even once in that paragraph, so very unlike geneer! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Why don’t you have a pop at it wheezy.
Lets see if your able to confirm how in 2005, JD didn’t actually predict that the crash would start in 2007.

    Not happening?

    No?

Who would have thunk it. :rotfl:

Gotta say, given how Wheezys taken a look at the contents of this thread, and the random raging of the various bullish spackers, and decided I’m being obtuse.....
Lets just say he’s ranking high on the hypocr-o-meter.

I thought his (TM) Geneer random paragraph generator said exactly that? well it made as much sense as any of your posts on this subject (or any subject)

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

who would have thunk it that geneer doesnt like a taste of his own medicine when pushing his Bear mememememme ::rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

forgot to add 'hypocricy' to geneers rather unextensive MSE economy board vocabulary of:

    'bear'
    'bull'
    'meme'

I'd have thought that would be the last thing you wanted people to do....

JD was wrong in 2004 about 2005 and 2006......

In 2005 he called the crash for 2007, when prices rose 5% instead.

He was right about 2008 (although he called it for 2007) but wrong about the amount of falls in 2008, and 2007, and completely wrong about the cause of those falls.

Then he called for huge falls again in 2009, 2010 and 2011, whilst prices have actually risen markedly from early 2009 when he made the call.

His 2009-2011 prediction of 40% to 50% falls was made after the announcement of QE and low interest rates, yet prices actually rose 10% instead, putting him a massive 60% out from what actually happened.

I make that a batting average of 0.025.....

Quite possibly the worst player in history.:D

Yet in 2005 he predicted that house prices would crash. In 2007.

Post 2008, the games open to debate, and in all honesty I don’t much care.

But for the avoidance of doubt, its absolutely crystal clear that the bulls patented timing argument, and their regularly repeated Davis related memes are a load of old toss. Less generous people would simply call them lies.

Particularly if we were to see them again after this thread.

Because, you guessed it, its “harder to rewrite history than you think Bulls”. ;)

Anyway, Nice one Hamish. Just keep typing the same thing gradually getting more shouty crackers! Excellent gambit. Amusing, but not nearly as amusing as your
“ray boulger nailed it when he predicted house prices wouldn’t crash in September 2006” gaffe. Bonkers!!:D

Jonathan said this in late 2010:

Average prices topped out in early Summer at c 10% below the all-time peak of late 2007. Prices have been falling since and soon they will go negative, year-on-year. Prices will likely plummet over the next couple of years – as we said they would before Crash #1 and repeatedly since. We said that prices would fall 40-50% over a few years. We remain on course for that forecast to be proven accurate.

geneer doesnt seem to understand that even if his 'heroes' are right, they are not his ideas. you would think he was the one attending press conferences. geneer is just a small man with small achievements and small goals.
