I never did get the tcb account sorted Aesop - they kept claiming that I was typing my password in incorrectly when I wasn't so I didn't bother with them and switched to quidco.

Feeling a bit meh today - I cannot get warm and my joints ache like crazy. Mind it is very wet today which is why my joints ache and I think that I caught a chill at college because the training rooms we have had to relocate to temporarily are freezing cold all the time. I know I am a bit run down because I have had a cold sore on my lip for 2 weeks now although it is less prominent than it was before.

Last night I was teaching myself how to use Word 2013 - it is quite different to 2010 and even the 2003 package I had before. I have now produced a form for guessing the number of sweets in the jar.

I did not go to college yesterday as I could not venture far from the loo (Norovirus is doing the rounds again). I managed to get quite a fair bit of work done (but no housework unfortunately). I will be glad when the event on Saturday is out of the way.

At the moment it seems to be me dipping into my pocket and claiming money back and to be honest I would rather not and if that means someone going without a trophy then that is fine. I am hating all this last minute stuff and the vagueness of things:mad: Trying to get information out of people is impossible and I am not going to be signing off blank cheques nor am I going to be carrying around hundreds of pounds in cash at the weekend which is what appears to be expected of me. I feel as though I am being politicised and shoved in a corner.

I guess I am feeling a little stressed. I took my excel exam at college today for the final time, fingers crossed that nothing is wrong this time and I did get one of the tutors to look over it (in fact she gave me a bit of help because she could see that I hadn't quite gotten one of the formulae right so she explained it and then I saw where I was going wrong. This afternoon, I was sent into the customer service group - where a tv programme called The Hotel annoyed the hell out of me because it was just so wrong - the event planner couldn't organise a fry up in a chipshop and insisting on dressing in a wedding dress (yes full white thing with wig) at a wedding fair. He was totally disorganised and you could tell he didn't know what he was doing - in fact none of them did. I was really quite angry by the end of it and very nearly walked out of the class - folks thought it was funny but I am guessing that I am bit too professional for that and could see where things were going wrong.

I have a lot to do tomorrow - shopping for me as I need bread, I need to empty my car of carboot stuff, go and collect something from somewhere, go to the bank and go and buy a picture frame and a pack of pencils as a prize. I have a photoshoot to attend, I need to go and see the rangers to see if they will do some more printing for me, I need to tidy the house and prepare for a meeting (they will not be getting biscuits or cake), if they don't like it then they know where the door is and they can do one:mad:

I need to try and do something with the logo that was created for us and supposedly interpreted into something that we could use professionally - what I get is a pile of carp that needs to be re-worked, everyone thinks that it is fine but I don't it looks baby-ish Maybe I am getting grumpy in my old age or am I too much of a perfectionist? I just don't do sub-standard where others don't care as much as me and will let things ride.

Am a bit peeved with college too as they are letting one client get away with murder - he never turns up, never rings and gives some wild excuse such as his phone is out of credit, he has no bus fare when it was refunded to him the day before - and yet he gets to stay instead of being booted off (he is costing the DWP £2000 a month which is what it costs for the training we receive), yet when I am off sick for one day and I phone in - I am treated like a leper and told off that I should attend every day. If I could get this lazy eejit booted off the course then I would because it is not fair on us as we are expected to be his keepers and it is not fair when others who actually want to work cannot get on the course.

Car boot not emptied yet but I have managed to buy picture frames, a ream of heavy weight white paper (I use it for my correspondence), a ream of bright yellow paper (used for rough so that I can read things) and 50 sheets of white card to print certificates on. Picture frames and cheap arty gifts bought from Wilkos and I have to go back in a while to collect a trophy - dunno where one of the committee members got £25 from because it has cost me £11.50 including the engraving.

I also nipped to Aldi for some essentials - I treated myself to an Aberdeen angus rump steak too seeing as they didn't have any rib-eye. Need to go out for bread (and I may just take my new slippers back to sainsbugs because I have only worn them a week and already the little fluffy pompoms have fallen off).

Gave mum advise on how to set up a new email address on gmail because the post office have changed the way they do emails and she can no longer send emails although she can receive them. She wanted something simple to use.

I have to stay behind after college tomorrow because I am having a meeting about a placement which could lead to permanent work.

Also dealing with a treasurer who is driving me nuts - I am not stupid so please don't treat me as though I am:mad: I know he is all for dotting his eyes and crossing his tees but to question whether or not I have lied about someone standing as VC is a bit much:mad:

Not sure about TCB Aesop - I have given up with them totally, I don't spend enough money to make any money with them anyway.

I was told today that my exam paper has been submitted to the exam board so that I can get my certificate, however, I do know that I will get another distinction.

I will be doing another powerpoint exam next week this time on e-presentations which seem to be fairly straight forward.

Today, I had an interview at college because they have a placement for me that could lead to a permanent job. I am sort of excited by it and at the same time quite scared as it is working with people who have behavioural difficulties and some of them scare me. College will have to tinker with my timetable, however, I still need to be able to have maths lessons because I have not had a proper maths lesson this term at all and I am aware that I will need to take an exam soon.

Trying to get everything sorted for tomorrow night and Saturday is a complete nightmare. I cannot find the battery charger to charge the batteries for my camera, I need to go and buy 6 AA batteries to go into the megaphone (need to get a chap to put them in as I am not breaking it). Tomorrow is an EGM and I need to print off some agendas (will take them to be photocopied). I also need to go to the bank to withdraw cash and unpack my car. My car has to then be repacked with stuff including tent pegs and my hammer (I must not forget my tent pegs).

Am getting quite annoyed with one person at college - he seems to get away with murder as he seems to be able to come and go as he pleases yet when I have a genuine day off sick I am jumped on, I was also questioned this afternoon as to why I was hanging about in the reception area because I should have gone home - I explained that I was there to meet someone with a view to a placement and got a humph and a filthy look for my trouble. This chap's place could have been given to someone in genuine need - this person hasn't worked in over 10 years and doesn't want to work (heck, he has told so many lies he cannot remember when he last worked or what he did so is having to ask the jobcentre to check his NI records). Can't they get rid of him????

    Feel like hibernating..lol

that's awful the way you were treated. There you are studying hard and working hard to get a job, you have an interview for a placement and you are giving a dirty look for waiting!:mad:

I love the way the Jobcentre hound those who want to work and are actively looking for work!

I was just thinking last time you were trying to access your TCB account because you had money in there you wanted to withdraw. the way I see it why should you lose your money?

good luck with the maths and the e-presentation next week. that sounds interesting.

Now I have changed operating systems - I managed to get into TCB last night (I have no money to withdraw).:j

I passed my e-presentation exam today (I wasn't expecting to do it today either), it was quite simple and only a level 1 exam (I have to do all the level 1 things before I am allowed to progress..sigh). Still, they are new qualifications and the more distinctions I get the better I feel:D

In other news I managed to get the Friends group onto the front page of the local paper and it is rather unfortunate that two of the kids in the photo have the same surname as me (they are not mine I hasten to add). I have yet more news - tonight I was elected Chair of the Friends group too and now I have a councillor's wife running interference asking daft questions. She is rather a poisonous little madam and can be all sweetness and light to your face but will bad mouth you behind your back. Thankfully none of the councillors turned up - clever me to organise a meeting for a Friday night knowing full well that they would have to be up early to travel to the Labour Conference:rotfl:

If I didn't have that event in the park tomorrow - I would head up there and bash some balsam (it is really good for stress and jumping on the stalks is best as you can imagine someone that you don't like and you are stomping on their faces lol).

I will be glad to have my house back as all the tombola stuff will go:j

I got £10.40 in travel expenses today plus I found 20p on the floor of the minibus:D

Yay at least you accessed it and you know now there is no money in there. I still prefer TCB over quidco but have both accounts running as different offers, etc. esp now with their cb over food items.

Well done on passing your exam.

You are better qualified than me now. i am not that good with powerpoint as barely use it and know nothing about epresentations.

good luck Ms Chairman :) sounds very interesting :D and clever you having a meeting on the day they couldn't come :rotfl:

good luck tomorrow and hope you raise loads of money
