Just watching Ronnie Corbett on Piers Morgan, 80 year old, he looks just the same age as when he was starring with Ronnie Barker, amazing.

His Teflon is wearing thin, I think.

Tomorrow we are going to a theme park near Totnes - being MSE I have found a money off voucher.
You might find Trago Mills, on the A30 near Newton Abbot, a bit MSE :)

That's mostly indoors, has lots of theme park outside bits for kids, affordable food places and inside it's a never-ending bargain-fest of everything from kitchen sinks to books and garden stuff and clothes and .... everything.

Have tried Trago Mills in the past and found it to be cheap tat trying very hard to pretend to be a bargain but actually mostly available cheaper elsewhere - plus the other customers were not really the sort you would meet on the 'nice people' thread.
    I think....

That's because you don't live in Cornwall, but have good access to an abundance of cheap places to shop.

Are we in for another Global Financial Crash or is this just a correction? FTSE is down 3% today, and 7 - 8% on the week. Various talk that Italy will default on (ahem, I mean reschedule) its debt. Any thoughts kind people?

Its probably stop loss programmed trading - remember 1987?

Quite useful if you're on holiday and get your tackle* in a tangle, though. :)

The owner has a weekly anti-EU, 'bring back the birch'-type rant in the full page advert he places in local papers. He's been doing this since I was a teenager in the 1960s, so he must be knocking on a bit. ;)

    *That's fishing tackle, of course.

I've lurked on the house prices board since before it became 'hidden' :o

    Do you still feel shy?

We don't bite (hard) as you'll know. :) There are a couple of very quiet followers which I confess makes me a little sad, not because they are not welcome, they are more than welcome. I just think there are people reading who have the same little ups and downs and don't get the same....release...the thread often provides the rest of us. I suppose its a virtual equivalent of never finding out about a neighbour who died..

My jaw hurts. I think I might need a filling :o:(
