About 40 years ago I visited this place http://www.andyfoot.com/the_southbourne_shell_house.html and took some black and white photos of it with an old Box Brownie. No idea where the photos are these days.
I can still remember standing on the pavement outside and taking those photos.
No, but he wants one. He keeps the shells whenever we eat shellfish to use when he can build it.0 -

Oh - and that reminds me - did you know you can buy many different styles of shell mulch? Some it's unrecognisable and some it's actually shells. There's a whole bunch of it up the road that looks lovely. They're not pretty enough to sell as "a bag of shells", so they are used like shingle in displays/gardens.
They aren't very common/easy to find .... but Googling might get some good results after a few hours.
The local Council used probably half a tipper lorry full round the town entrance/gateway sign etc..... surprised to see nobody's nicked them yet - even I've got my eye on them0 -
Spendaholics on Really (channel 20 freeview probably).
21 year old - she's applied for a loan of nearly £20k and has been ignoring bank letters. She spends £3k/year on makeup/looking good ... and they strung up 100 metres of washing line to hold her clothes (most still with labels on).
Average week on "non essential items" she thinks she spends £60 but has no idea; they've been through her statements and she spends £265.60 every week ... NON-ESSENTIAL ITEMS!!! Fook!
Unbelievable....0 -

Found my insurance renewal in the email spam and remarkably the renewal is not only 40 quid cheaper than the best new quote available but also 70 quid less than if I do a new customer quote with the same company. The insurance co are clearly amateurs who won't be in business for long....
Go on, post their name -just don't mention the words car or insurance in your post so the world and his wife don't arrive here using search engines!:DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
