Wikipedia says paua is Maori for abalone.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Thank you, I should and could have googled that, sorry. It's one of those things that I have always wondered and never bothered to find out :o:p

    And champagne!

I've developed a taste for Prosecco recently, which is handy because it's loads cheaper than a similar quality Champagne, but also strange because I used to be a particularly obnoxious Wine snob

there are proseccos or should that be prosecci better than some champagnes IMO.

I understand there are English sparkling wines better than some of both, but I don't know any English wines. Had some from a local vineyard that won an award but I am unable to recommend it:eek: which makes me wonder if the thing about English wine is true, if that stuff can win an award.

I am trying to use the kobo reader i just got to type this. It is not that fast to do but maybe with time it will get easier.

I am not sure how to submit this so wish me luck.

Good luck! I am relearning too, and while in some ways it is easier I am looking forward to getting a proper keyboard. The touchscreen is easier IMO, and while it's very sensitive I am worried as I have a tendency to hammer normal keyboards and don't want to damage this

I have never even heard of a kobo reader... and have absolutely NO idea what on earth it could possibly be.
