I don't know who you think I'm meant to be a sock puppet of but I've only ever posted under the one name.
Thanks, Dave.
There seem to be nicer people back there so I'll make my way back.
NO, Itsme, please don't worry. Davesnave and I know itsme from our other long thread on MSE. Its me, we have lots of reincarnations of old friends, so people often want to find out if its an old friend with new news, and those who come back with new names are cared about as much...so a wrong assumption doesn't mean even if right you'd be unwelcome. ...but guts, Itsmehonest is an NP from another thread where NPs are called Dreamers.0 -
so um...how much do you reckon a back windscreen is going to cost us guys?0

What about Dithering Dad, you be able to spot his sockies'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Edit - I guess reading posts in order would help - couldn't you have just got the AA to come and fish the keys out for you?
How do you end up with a broken rear screen? (I'm assuming in you part of the world baseball bat related incidents are not very common)lostinrates wrote: »so um...how much do you reckon a back windscreen is going to cost us guys?I think....0 -

A lot. Can you get a second hand one from a scrap merchant? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I said to dh, ''are you cross'' and he said ''its an adventure, I've never driven with no back windscreen and I've never been to the place Lydia lives, what's to be cross about?''. I am married to a saint.:)
You are! When I locked the only set of keys in the back of the Sprinter earlier in the year, it took me nearly two days to get in, and DW still complained, when all I did was drill a 2cm hole in the bulkhead.....:(
And it came in very handy two weeks later when I did the same again in B&Q's car park. The man from Britannia Rescue was delighted, as it was probably the easiest job he'd done all day....and he wanted to visit B&Q as well.0
