Oops! I forgot to mention the fabulous home-cured ham.
We ate some for lunch, and there's a whole lot more in my fridge.
remember, it freezes well...so five minutes sawing it up and freezing might make for a couple of easy suppers when back to school, or for packed lunches.
I bake hams usually, in dough. DH was v. excited when I baked ham last night (I did one for us too, late christmas fare) as he quickly adated to our family tradition of baked ham, and likes to get a portion of the dough...which my mother used to give as a dog treat or to small children. Which says it all really. :eek:0 -

I had wondered, but am never really sure and tbh, don't care too much.its a free world, and apart from missing our lost in action friends and wondering what happens in their lives I don't care if they have one or one hundred log ins. But it must make work for misskool.

I don't think I ever said much about my life anyway so no loss there. Too guarded.
Not sure how long I have been away, a year maybe since I found my new love. Basically writing longer versions of the same old crap I used to do on here.
I'm now making more or less a dollar a day.
Sound good? Useless? Well, it's a glimmer of a possibility, no more than that.
Thing is. I couldn't do both. Not enough time.
But a grand farewell would have been silly.0 -
