Thanks tomterm. That tells me everything I need to know. All three browsers in one sandbox will be quite sufficient for my reasonably simple needs. :)

DD has just come charging into my room excitedly shouting "Mummy, it's Christmas Day. Come on." Her "oh!" was a perfect expression of anti-climax when I said, "No, darling, it's Christmas Eve today." :rotfl:

ETA Glad you're feeling a bit better, Sue. May last night be the first of many good nights of sleep.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

About to go out and start my Christmas shopping.

    Wish me luck.

What would a 7 year old DD like as a main present apart from the flute and violin which she is asking for but ain't going to get?
    I think....

Afraid I can't really help Michaels, I only had 7 year old non traditional boys to worry about.....

Oh, does she like Glee? Dressing up? Justin Beiber (urgh)?
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    That's so cute :A

DD has been trying to establish/ manipulate when night time changes to morning time, basically when can she get torn into her presents. None of them will survive until anywhere near 11AM.

Youngest was moaning about how everything has to be a surprise last night, he has been buying presents (obviously pocket money level) and then showing them what he has got! I don't quite think he has got the hang of this Christmas present buying lark.

Eldest has expanded on why he was able to pack my hospital bag perfectly, his best friend happens to be female (no relationship there, they are more like brother and sister) and she has had to go into hospital a few times, so he just remembered the sort of things she used to pack, coupled it with my particular likes and went from there.

He even remembered to pack bra and knickers and to put the shampoo and bath stuff in a waterproof bag in case of leaks!

Oh, she'll be up early tomorrow. DS will wake her at whatever time I tell him is the earliest he's allowed to, and she'll be excited enough to get up.

In body clocks as in apparently everything else, my kids are opposites - he likes getting up at 5am (why???), but will take himself off to bed when he gets tired in the evening, and she has to be dragged out of bed in the mornings and is never sleepy at bedtime.

Best wishes to all for Christmas, especially those of you are currently struggling at the moment.

    :D

I may be on here tomorrow..... But as I'm doing the "12 beers of Christmas" challenge, can't guarantee I'll make any sense.;)
