Can't read it - they should have transcribed it.

I've only got a tiny screen.

to paraphrase, That he is not sorry, and they got what they deserved because they were stupid to live in the area they did, and to leave their curtains open & a kitchen window open, so they got what they deserved.

Although, to be frank the crook was a bit of an idjit, wasn't he? He got caught. Obviously not the smartest crook in the barrel.

Thanks Doozer. They went back to school today. Yes, I went to see Mum. She's sleeping almost all the time now, not eating at all, and only drinking with a lot of help. When I was there we could only get her to have a little juice with a teaspoon - when offered it with a straw she wasn't able to suck. However, I'm told the evening carers managed to get her to drink quite a lot of her nutritional drink stuff with a straw. My youngest brother's there now and staying until Sunday. I'll go back on Friday.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Beat me to it! Mrs Z was talking about it tonight. We walk our dog in Richmond Park too, but it's scared of deer, and rolls in any deer poo it can. :D

And now I've just seen it on the News at Ten!

Hooray! It's dedicated to my favourite author Stanislaw Lem and his book the Cyberiad. Discussed that book some time ago on another thread

If you only read one sci fi book I'd recommmend that one, as it's all short fables and very inventive.

He wrote "Solaris" but his humorous works are much better than his serious stuff!:D

Is there a way of saving a link to a particular day's logo ?
