There's two rough areas where you're sort of equidistant from M5 and M42, I know cos my mum and dad live in one, but as it's more than 1mi for them I reckon you're probably the other. Is the pub a Harvester by any chance?
Bingo!
Rough?!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I'm a Tesco snob, so even if they built one in the field next door, I'd not use it, unless I'd run out of something important.
I've tried to see what it's all about with Mr T's, but whenever I've gone into one, I've come out feeling let down. Most things don't even seem that cheap.
Last time I was in a Tesco, I did find an acceptable pie for £4.99, but a much better one from a local butcher here is only £3.60. As for the bread......:(
I wouldn't claim that the others are much better, but an interesting choice arises when we decide to commit to a 20 mile supermarket shop. We can either go to Place A with Waitrose & Lidl, Place B with Morrisons, or Place C with Sainsburys and Lidl. Usually C wins, but mainly for the reason that we can go to the dump and/or B&Q, and then return via Mole Valley Farmers.
We go to our big Tesco (the 24 hour one which is a 20-25 minute drive away), as a day out.....youngest gets to play on the Ipads etc and I get to pretend I am rich and pick out all the home furnishings I would love to have.
We don't generally spend anything though......or if we do, it is less than a tenner and then we move onto PC world and pretend we are rich there too!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

You card wheezy.
But yeah she's obviously in the rougher of the two.0 -
Just bought in the last of my tomatoes from the greenhouse. A good last crop too.
Reckon its the latest I've ever been picking due to no hard frost yet. Plants now straight into compost. Not very healthy looking by this time of year.0 -

I think he meant rough as in "rough estimate".
Am at my parents' place. Kids are at school. Mum v sleepy. Now not eating at all, and can't suck to drink through a straw, but has been having her drink fed to her with a teaspoon. The respite carer is here today so I'm helping my dad with stuff while she sits with my mum for a bit.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Pulled down the last of mine a couple of weeks ago. Got tons of green toms all over various windowsills.
Gave up on the pepper plants - planted them too late imo.
Greenhouses now packed away for next year. Must start a lot earlier next year! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I prefer commons and woods myself as they are more rough and ready, even though they clearly need a lot of care to be commons and woods and don't just stay like that by themselves. Personally, commons and woods are where I go for a ramble or to walk my parent's dog, parks are where I go for a picnic or for a community event (though Music on the Moor, near my parent's house, throws that theory out a bit).
Anyhow, I've worked out why you are so confused. I just went on the net looking for parks in North Cornwall and it gave me a list of caravan parks, followed by car parks:rotfl:.

There's a sort of list there, which seems to come down to a few National Trust type gardens.0
