DG are you really homeless despite owning several houses? That is not the life for kids, I think you need to tell DH to pull his finger out or put down the deposit and rent somewhere for 6 months.
We don't have several houses any more. 6 months is too long otherwise we'd have done it. You're right, it's not great for the kids. I won't allow it to ever happen again.
We should be in next weekend. If you saw the house you wouldn't think it, but the finger is definitely out!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

If you're in the countryside there's plenty of access to green spaces, if you want to walk along footpaths/similar, but there's no big, central area that's the focus of the village/town.
I doubt I've been in a park... not really sure what a park is or what makes a park a park and not, say, a common, or village green.
richmond park isn't really a park in the normal sense, it's just a big slab of open land which hasn't been built on, with a few copses on it. i think the purpose of it was to provide a hunting ground for henry VIII to kill a load of deer for fun. it has got several roads through it though, which i think is a bit of a shame.
look here's a picture taken by some idiot who thought no-one else had ever seen a deer in richmond park before!0 -

Restorative justice not exactly working there. It is astounding. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

It's a bit of a nonsense story, of COURSE some of the guy's emigrating decide they want to return back to the UK...
Their conclusion is a bit silly.
It's harder to emigrate than you'd think, people miss their family and friends etc.
On a sadder note, I've just found out Anne McCaffrey, her of the dragons, had died. Pretty sad, really.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
