Cos I'm not scary you said.
Well, listen, if you need anything PLEASE remember you said I'm not scary and pm me. I can then decide which of the other NP to bug to help me help you..how would that be? Is that possible?
We're all pinning everything on tomorrow, to get answers, a way forward, new meds, the word from the man.... everything.... we're going mob-handed.... we've a plan.0 -
I'm blushing now lir. There are lots of nice people hereabouts and the reason we work is we all help each other. I do rather like the idea of being a dame though, and there are definitely times in the wider forum that it feels like a pantomime! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Or just post on here saying "I am fed up because I don't know how to do X, and there is nobody to help me find out about Y" and we will see we can do to help without your having to ask specifically, especially since we now know that you were pleased with viva's help and didn't find it interfering.
I did this kind of thing with babysitting a while ago - a rant on facebook about "I can't go to xyz special event because I can't find a sitter" produced an offer of help from somebody I would never ever have asked directly.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

And, for the record, I couldn't PM Generali because my speshulness makes it difficult for me to approach/reach out ... and PM. I can respond, I can't initiate. PMing would be too much of an "open" type of behaviour. Aspies can respond to closed questions, not open questions - and the same is true of initiating contact.
If you PM me it's not reaching out, it's just using a different part of the forum to ask for clarification.
If I write something about your situation and you don't get my point then please tell me (either via PM or the forum, as I say they're the same thing to me) and I will try to clarify. What I write on here about your present situation is meant to be helpful or supportive. It's not helpful if I don't communicate it properly!0 -

Plan is to go in and listen to what they say ... then dream up questions
First question though is: how do I balance an old on a sack barrow if I can't get the old the 60' to the car.... there's a slight chance the old isn't physically able to get to the car at all.... so I've been eyeing up the sack barrow.0 -
Questions I cant answer.........
How having started painting the hall and stairs how do I reach the places a small woman with a fear of heights cant reach without splattering the dark wooden beam bits with emulsion?
We will deal with "cutting in" at a whole different date
I am seriously starting to think this whole money saving thing can be horrendously expensiveRetail is the only therapy that works0 -

One important question.
''Please may I have an email address or phone number for someone I can contact if we have questions about any of this after we've taken it all in?''
re old, front passenger seat is the ideal place. Sit on something slippy, like a plastic bag, that allows you to ''swivel'' him on the seat. Get wheelchair from hopital reception...ask them, explain why, then wheelchair by car door, with brake on, then ..if you pout your arms under his, join at the back and one good heave with a very small body turn....get the wheelchair position right.
Its not dignified or particularly bonding but you can at least silently enjoy for once being in control while controlling old is in the chair and YOU are pushing;)0 -

Not practical for tomorrow but maybe something you want to consider, you should be able to loan a wheelchair from the local Red Cross medical equipment centre, which is in Truro (and you will probably tell me that's not that local). Or ask the hospital if you need mobility aids. If there are problems getting to the car or into the hospital and lots of visits are planned that could work better - providing of course the house isn't on a hill and at the top of a flight of steps! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
