Today I've: been to the pharmacy, sorted out some tablets, done two lots of washing/got that dried, made the beds, sorted out meds at the right times, ensured there's relevant food/drinks in front of the ill old in case of a miracle, phoned the viva miracle, chased up the Ad-SS, spent lots of time with the well old as their head is full of confusion/mess over 'the future', cleaned down the kitchen sink/dish area (first time that's been done this century I think), cooked/fed the well old, fetched/carried a few items on demand, dealt with a few unexpected patient disturbances .... and dossed about here :)

So not a lot, it's been an easy day really.... if I could do all the above to my own schedules, instead of it all being fire-fighting, I'd have managed more.

Feel swamped with mess and flakes of paint atm. What can I lie on the floor to catch melting paint that doesn't catch fire/burn? Old fleece throw melted, and the newspaper was a big mistake:o:o

Luddites like me have these wonderful things called ''pens'' which we make marks on stationary with when something isn't emailable. If its a recipe or something you just take lap top to place. :D

Wow! What an incredible idea. Can you trademark the word 'pen'? So simple yet evocative.

You should sell them. You'd make millions.

Good luck with the appointment. You've got lots of people here wishing you well.

I'm so impressed. Viva is a Star! :):)

Aw shucks:o. It was Gen's idea to go down the advocacy route though. I just happened to be the one in the UK with a phone and a BT "all UK daytime calls free" contract. Teamwork.

I didn't even know what an advocate was, to be honest. Never heard of them. Still a bit confused how they exist .... :)

And, for the record, I couldn't PM Generali because my speshulness makes it difficult for me to approach/reach out ... and PM. I can respond, I can't initiate. PMing would be too much of an "open" type of behaviour. Aspies can respond to closed questions, not open questions - and the same is true of initiating contact.

Hey, you know you can PM to me. :) Cos I'm not scary you said. :D

Well, listen, if you need anything PLEASE remember you said I'm not scary and pm me. I can then decide which of the other NP to bug to help me help you..how would that be? Is that possible?

I've just re-read Generali's response, to see if I could understand it better this time ... and I read it again and I couldn't see 'advocacy' in there. I see 'someone else's problem' - and that has no meaning for me because I think .... there is nobody else, just me, so it's back to being my problem :)

Yet viva read it and saw 'advocacy'.... my £1million answer would have been ... "dunno the answer".

oh and re viva, I wish there was a sort of honours list for the internet. Viva would definitely get to be something like Dame Vivatifosi of MSE for services to forum users. She's helped me too, and deserves recognition for general niceness always.
