Water Board at the door, there was a foul incident (whatever that means, sounds yuck) further up the road, so they want to examine the drains.
2+ weeks ago and it may have been our problem, but now they are dealing with it.
Next door has had drain people round twice in the last few weeks, but apparently their block paving has moved, so they can't open their drains to inspect. Hmm, so how did the drain people clear them out then? Just maybe if they cut back their trees, the roots wouldn't damage the block paving and then their drain lids could be moved! I did wonder if their tree roots had damaged the drains, but the problem has come to light a few houses up the road, so maybe not.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
