Stick to arrangement.... might upset plans already made, and fighting priorities, but you'd be a first priority as you'd broken the arrangement. In times of change there's nothing worse than somebody chucking another change at you - especially if they think they're doing you a favour :)

Hands up all the strictly fans :j:T

Last night was better than Friday and i'm really pleased Kristina Rihanoff has a good partner in Jason Donovan. I think they will walk it.

    She's my favourite!!! :A

You should join us on the Strictly thread in the Arms. missk is already there and the other posters are lovely. ETA: that isn't to say missk isn't lovely, rather that the other people are also NPs, even if they don't post here. I'm tying myself in knots a bit aren't I:o?
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Sorry lir, I agree with silvercar and PN. That one sentence says it all:

    "You know you shouldn't"....

    etiquette question: answer it's rude.

Sometimes, however, in life you have to be rude.

NDG, your poor friend. Missed miscarriages are awful. I only had one (between my two kids) and that was bad enough. To have five like that must be even more unbearably desolate. And to lose her mum the same week... I was so grateful for the support of my mum when I had my miscarriage. Words fail me. I hope you are able to be there for her.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

I've just remembered what I should have done with the warm spell: hire that carpet cleaner again grrrr. Shall I do it on a cold day this week or continue to pretend my carpets are ''acceptable''? :)

I think I'll leave it. Couple of horrid filthy bits, but I might scrub them by hand....or just leave them!

I think that, perhaps, your friends should cherish their daughter ever so much and give up on the heartbreak of trying to produce a further child?

I think they're getting to that point. Certainly, they aren't going to try again yet.
