It's 1 October, the leaves are falling on the ground and I'm sweating in the garden with just a T-shirt.
My strawberries have also decided to flower again thinking spring has returned.

It's the 1st of October and I am starting to feel old...in two days time I will have an 18 year old!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

In five months time I can say the same!:D
Exactly 5 months?

So you get there first. But it's my youngest that hits 18, so I won't have any "children". Now when do young adults leave the bank of Mum & Dad?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Well it's my oldest. And as we (probably) live in Britain, probably never, more's the pity!:mad:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Like sue, my fridge isn't where the value is. Its in the freezer. that said, there are a fair few jars in the fridge, and jars of stuf can be pricey. How wold one price home made stuff if the ingreiants are cheap but the equivalent commercial value would be high? TBH, checking the value of fridge contents would mean stopping putting off cleaning it.
Oh, and I have a moisturiser in there, and and eyemask.....0 -
Today has to be oe ofthe most beautiful of the whole year.
I bet Lydia has made a fortune.
However, I think our bees aren't going to survive. The wasp attack has just decimated them and there seems no way back from it. I moved them with a risky tecnnique (not the traitional three feet or three miles), and they have survived that, but the wasps have found them again.
There hasn't been a single wasp on the windfall fruit OR on the plum trees, where one is usully plagued, and my neighbours said they were surprised not to have had any this year.....but they are all in our hives. The local beeclub said they've never seen a hive recover from this sort of decimation so..:(
such lovely gentle bees too.:( Next year I think we'll strt with a local swarm and hope they are nasty, so that they ar rougher with the wasps.0
