Friend away until October, so I guess I don't know till then, but have emailed her.
She's not that likely to know all that much though.0 -
VoP let me take her rug off today, then put it on for rain, and take it off and put it on yet again. sun is out again, so I'm leaving it on, because I don't want it to rain again!
When she was naked she and special girl had a long mutual groom...even after all these years, seeing horses play ''if you scratch my back I'll scratch yours'' makes me grin.0 -
I am pooped.
Working a couple of long days again this week. I have also been working at the 2nd job, which probably isn't helping, but at the same time, I need the cash.
I have 2 weeks to find somewhere to put my cash where it doesn't get a paltry rate of interest, & I'm not optimistic.:(
Friend from overseas visits the UK friday, so will be having a meal out & a good catch up.:)
Have not been to anywhere as near as many gigs as usual. Sources indicate that bands aren't touring owing to costs. That said, did a search of venues a week ago, & found 6 gigs I want to go to.:)
Finished work at a normal(ish) hour last night. Went home, & read for an hour or 2. Have really missed reading, & really enjoyed it! Hope it gets me back into the swing.
I need sleep though...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Driving down the M4 there is a large wind turbine near Reading. Normally it is spinning merrily away. Today on probably the windiest day I have driven it was at a standstill. Any reason why it could be too windy to operate a wind turbine? Wrong type of wind? Wrong direction?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. They switch them off when it's too windy.
I'm guessing it's like revving an engine too high and could cause damage.0 -

Its a bit like hearing Sooty the mute puppet speak, isn't it?
To day my tumble drier arrives. I never thought I'd buy one of these. I certainly wouldn't have put it higher on the list that dishwasher and fridge.Oh well, things change. I'll just use it as sparingly as I can, but will try it this week to make sure it works!
something in the night has tipped over my troughs of pelargoniums and the abutilon and its all a mess out there.0
