Although there are other, easier, ways to go.... trouble is, there are 000s of options out there, free, cheap, bit pricier and everything in between.

There's one I can't remember the name of though .... but I've seen some hideous errors made with that. The name'll come to me soon.

Edit: Mr Site is the one I've seen people use (that have no knowledge/skills).

But there are 000s out there ... and until you've tried a dozen or three you won't know what you like.

I'm ashamed of it ... in 2006 I decided the CMS I wanted and installed it (one click), then struggled to find a template to fit (for free), so ended up with a "you'll do" template (which was really bad) ... since then I've never had the b4lls to fiddle with it and try new templates (if available) in case it caused my income from that site to die.

That whole game is a dark secret to me

I don't make websites for people .... I can't make them myself to be honest

I just chuck up a copy of Wordpress, grab a free template (currently using the default one as it's better these days than a year ago) ... and then I type up random stuff.

Ah, new information.... I can answer small bits of specific information.

If you have a domain name, who is it registered with?
Do you have hosting with it?

You might find your host gives free hosting .... and some free website builders - so tell us who the domain is registered with.

reg123 probably.

I hate them... had to use them in an emergency when one of my main domains disappeared - and it appeared that my host had gone under - and I googled and found out the domain was registered at reg123, so I approached them to say "My domain, host's disappeared... help, I want my domain back" and to do so I registered for free with them, then got the domain name attached to my free account.... then realised I had NO idea how their user panel/system worked, so transferred it from them.

If it is them - there's some free hosting perhaps. Ask your friend is the quickest answer
