Not scorchio here, but beautiful. I'd swim, but shiver.

as it is I'm so tired I can hardly think. Friends are dropping in tomorrow and the house suddenly seems to have grown a whole load of mess and dirt during the day, so have to get up early to clean because too tired tonight.

It was inevitable. I'm also a boit cross with people saying ''terrible to lose such a great talent''. Talent was lost some time ago from what I hear from mutal acquaintances....

Its sad, but tbh so is watching the living destruction of talent.

you know what? I'm lucky enough to know lots of talented people. I'm pretty sure the two things are distinct....though its controversial in those circles I agree. I know extremely talented people who don't go off the rails.

I was never convinced she was that talented and despaired of the media giving her so much coverage given what a terrible role model she was.

Looks like I am lucky enough to have a night of coughing child to look forward too plus there will also be Harry Potter nightmares to get up for so don't be surprised to find me on here at silly o'clock tonight.

I've got a house of 3 stomping and screaming kids in the holiday let. Noisy b4st4rds..... they've set off the neighbourhood dogs now too. It's all wooden floors, wooden stairs and laminate, so sound travels. Walking up their stairs sounds like somebody's walking up ours; if somebody in the small bedroom takes off a necklace and puts it down on the shelf I can hear that through the walls.... so having 3 boisterous, noisy, excited kids stomping about's driving me nuts ... and they just woke up my mum who hasn't been able to sleep for the last 1-2 weeks and was just managing to get some shut eye.

Oldest was about 6, judging from how they looked when they arrived... they might be on holiday, nobody else is.

Oh Pastures, what a horrible time with the gas and the noise. I'm so sorry I posted after you about Hamish the shark, but I just typed a message and hadn't refreshed the page so yours hadn't come up. Sorry, I'm rambling.

Is it possible to ask the next door neighbours to be quiet? Most reasonable people would try to keep the noise down if they knew there were really sick people next door, but they can't possibly know.
