Although the politicians and the media are currently after the Murdochs and Brooks for their pound of flesh, I can't help but feel that the Met are managing to keep themselves out of the limelight a bit. Maybe that will change - I hope so. Like Wheezy I'm appalled but unsurprised at the lengths that tabloid hacks will go to in order to get a scoop. But the fact that Police officers high up in the Metropolitan police have been cosying upto said hacks for years is what makes me the most uncomfortable. Corruption in the police force is something that needs to be drilled down and cut away immediately0
