I think you may also need to reconsider on the blue badge as well?I think....0

Sue, if you had a blue badge you might find it actually gets you out more. Because you won't have the long walk from carpark to include in potential hazards of going out.
wheelchair too. Good for the boys to get a chance to take care of you/pushing...for a change!0 -
Anyone else amazed at the hypocrisy of politicians claiming the moral high ground against brazen criminality given that they've been robbing off us for years? Especially given that they have been doing their theivery by more unscrupulous and deceitful means. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0

I was driving home from a bowls match monday evening, sitting in the car thinking "it is all a bit wierd, kicking off in London, yet we are so far removed from this".
Next day, we're all caught up in it.
Birmingham was rumoured to be quite bad. With the 3 men run down in a car, racial tensions are still quite tense. The father who has been speaking publicly is (imo) the reason why it hasn't got worse.
Wolverhampton & West Bromwich was (imo) just a load of chav youths going on the rob - no more than that. Rumoured to be worse than it actually was. That said, I don't go through West Brom, & haven't been into the city centre in Wolverhampton to inspect the damage. Plus where I work in Birmingham is detached from where the trouble was.
Tuesday I went to Blists Hill Victorian Town. Wednesday was spent in a park picnicking with friends to celebrate someones birthday, and thursday I went to Much Wenlock & Bridgnorth.:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
LIR it sounds to me like they were smoking weed in your drive. Lights might do the job. People smoking grass like privacy.
A dog would also see them off.
LIR I'm 99.9999999% sure that generali is correct with this one. Just someone looking for somewhere quite & peaceful to have a smoke. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I have to say they don't set a good example, the thing is if Osbourne or Cameron been caught out, would the have been kicked out of their council house'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

I'm looking forward to live coverage when the first family of eight is evicted from their Bermondsey high rise.
Probably somewhat less likely than the Beatles re-forming for a farewell tour.0 -

Personally I don't think so. We have those too (and ''amourous'' pullovers) though fewer the longer we live here. This person opened the gate, came in the yard, I could see his cigarette moving around the yard.
Besides, quiet and peaceful it isn't when dog-dog and big dog are going. I can't tell you the volume they make, its not really credible that just two dogs can howl like a pack in hunt kennals and yet they do. dog-dog sounds more like some sort of zombie werewolf than a dog...its blood curdling!
Rural crime is increasing a lot, and our farm yard isn't overlooked by anyone, its the ideal spot for theft!0 -

I'm still waiting for Cameron to hug his first hoodie.:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
michaels, regarding the tiling. I saw (somewhere!) tiles that were like fossils. They are the only tiles I have ever looked at and thought "they're the ones for me!"
But then again, this is my shower curtain:It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
