I keep finding bits in your posts that seem blindingly obvious to you, but leave me utterly confused. [/QUOTE]

In this case, about 1%!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Me too. They get in the way of life's important things. Like surfing net forums and playing Angry Birds:o.
On a serious note, police have arrested four people for the arson attack on Batchwood. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Absolutely. Well, not Angry Birds in my case, but other things of approximately equal importance.vivatifosi wrote: »On a serious note, police have arrested four people for the arson attack on Batchwood.
GoodDo you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Actually, I met my wife through him, and my family knew him because my mother was his wife's gynaecologist. And my mother knew everyone's names, when they were born, and whether they were a breach or a normal presentation.

Bored in Wales.
It's raining. Nothing much to do.
Dad's started chemo and is Ok with it at the moment. And he's not going out much as he tires easily, otherwise he's doing OK. Mum will only go out if he's not left alone. So me being here means that she can get out and friends and relatives have been turning up to take her out these few days. So she is happier, Dad is happier that Mum is happier and everything is on an even keel - some of the time.
Other times its doom and gloom and "what if..." etc and people getting upset and other people phoning with unhelpful advice.
All par for the course I guess.
So me being here helps them, which is fine.
But there really is nothing to do.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
