Terrible joke (again from Popb!tch).
What do you get if you cross a boy from Eton and a polar bear?
A full polar bear.
Alistair Cook is playing a blinding innings over there. This is as good a knock as I've seen against India excepting the 333 Gooch scored at Lords. The concentration it must take to bat for over 700 minutes is amazing. I find it hard to do anything for 700 minutes except cycle perhaps.
What time the declaration? surely tonight.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. I would imagine so. There are showers forecast for Saturday and Sunday but not many.
Surely they have to let Cook aim for 300, maybe even 333 to beat Gooch's record. He might have to get a move on though.
I think 300, BTW first time England have reached 700 in atimed test.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. We have just renewed MIL's blue badge for her, even though she does not drive. It's very useful for when we are driving her around, as we can usually find somewhere near the destination to park. Before we had it, I used to drop her at destination and go find somewhere to park, and by the time I got back she was getting fretful.0

Are YOU ok?0 -
In case you wondered - everything's turned to utter poo..... it's horrendous .... a nightmare ... and endless. And things are worsening. Brain's all over the place, 2-3 hours sleep each night, too much to do/sort, everything's moving so much faster than information/services/calls can catch up.... I have one old behaving like an 8 year old under medical care and another old at home that's reverted to childhood and behaving like an 8 year old .... having to abandon one old (alone) sometimes just to try to get some other things done ... and there's danger they might be a danger to themselves, but I have to abandon them sometimes and hope things are OK when I get back. I've one with probably under a week to go - and the other one going into La La Land to try to blot it out.0
