Nice to see you are nearly at half term. All of our holidays have been adjusted for the rugby world cup! Can't imagine having that happen in the UK!

For any of you who aren't on fb, I have been tootling along on the internet tonight and have come across this amazing site ...

Next year my Dad will be 70 ... I have decided to do one of these for him and am going to contact as many people as possible who know him. I am hoping it will be one of those priceless gifts, and something that mum can keep too. I want him to be able to remember some of the memories too before his memory gets too bad :o

I am sooo excited at the thought of doing this now :D

Morning all :) For some reason this weekend I've started to feel a bit more Christmassy, no idea why, but I need to start getting organised. My plan this week is to write a bumper list for half-term so that I can get on top of most of it. Usually I do my christmas organising / shopping on weekends ds is at his dads, so this year I need to be more organised to get it done while he's still here.

Today we're going for a walk with a friend and her dog, but other than that theres nothing major going on. I need to get some washing and ironing done, the ovens on already to roast a chicken and I'll eat it cold later. Have a good day all :)

Isn't it lovely when you suddenly find the perfect gift for someone that you feared would end up with something completely unnecessary or unappreciated? I too would be very excited by that one, it is the sort of thing that makes me get butterflies!

Enjoy your day - the sun is shining here, so Christmas is very definitely the last thing on my mind.....!!

Baths done, about to veg on the sofa for half an hour and watch Strictly, before persuading ds he does really want to go to bed :)

We had a lovely 2 hour walk with friends this afternoon, but I do have a bit of a headache now, think I need to be in bed fairly early tonight.

5 days to go til half-term, a few bits planned for this week but overall I'm hoping it will be a straightforward uneventful one leading up to a nice night in the pub on friday night :D
