  • Evening all, sorry for last nights rant, tonight I sent ex-mil a text thanking her for ds parcel. That way she has been thanked but I don't have to get into a conversation with her about when they will next be seeing ds ;)

Seems a good alternative, you don't want to be forced into making the relationship more than you want
We looked after dad tonight as mum was out with my sister, and it gave me the chance to copy out her address book, so I now have lots of people to write to for dads memory box :T I actually have no idea who half of them are, so I could be writing to old colleagues / neighbours / people they met on a holiday years ago and promised to stay in touch with / who knows! :D

We had this recently when Mum passed away, lots of the people in her address book were just "Janet and John" and an address sort of thing, no idea who half of them were.

    Enjoy half term.

Ooh, was 26th October last year, tonight was the first time I have felt the slightest bit cold, but a warm bath soon solved that, so am hoping I can hold out a bit longer than that this year :)

I'm trying to hold out until the end of October but its hard, Im cold today in the house but put layers on and the sun is out now so hoping it will warm up a bit. I can see me putting the heating on before 31st.

    Morning all, yay its half-term :j :j
Went out last night after school with mates from work and spent £10 on pizza and about £25 on drinks, but it was probably my only night out in the last 7 weeks ;) Head doesn't feel bad this morning, slightly light-headed when I woke up so have had some choccy to get the blood sugar level up a bit and am fine now :)

So, day one of the holidays .... nothing much planned for today, my brother and family are coming up to mums and are collecting their new puppy en route, so will go round there to see them all, but other than that it will be a lazy one that probably involves making a long list and some much needed housework :D

Evening all, had a lovely day, only spent 89p on milk. However, the place is still like a bombsite as i haven't touched it today, so tomorrows plan is a mega blitz of the flat. In fact, I am going to write a list of what I need to get done and then I can start crossing it off to make me feel better :)

I have already done a qualifying bet for a match tomorrow, which will hopefully earn me £30-£35 tomorrow to go into the holiday fund :D

List will follow in next post ....

Thanks Pixie, it looks a lot but actually shouldn't take that long (apart from under ds bed, which basically houses 80% of his toys ). Once that list is done then I can crack on with my half-term list of other bits and pieces that I need to get done this week ....

gulp to that list. On the other hand I probably ought to make a list on my thread as we are moving house in just over a week!
