Not a good night ... ds had a major meltdown tonight, throwing various stuff at me and then trashing his room

The first resulted in him losing playing with his friend for a week, the second resulted in no tv/dvd for a week
After that we went to mums for a change of scene to help him calm down, and he was good there, and as we left I slipped on her doorstep, went flying, and have cut my knees to bits
Spends tonight = £2.21 on choccy / biscuits on offer in tesco express. I have stuck to my ww points today
Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
Mortgage Overpayments Pot £15870 -
Hope everythings OK now, and the knee isn't too badly damaged.

Sorry to hear about DS, hope things have calmed down for you.
Sending hugs, hope your knee isn't too sore.0 -
Thankyou, my knees sore this morning and very grazed but I will be fine

Ds managed a lie-in until 8.30 this morning, he's struggling already with having no tv, maybe this is one consequence that may get through to him at last
It will be a tough week though as he will argue lots about his one
Isa payment has gone out today, so duly added to the mortgage pot. My isa's value has plummeted this week (share based), but hopefully over time it will recover again

consider the rollercoaster the share pointage has done this week I don't think you will have anything to worry about long term. Could believe how shcizoid the DOW has been this week! Sorry to hear about DS is this how he is dealing with the issues around his dad?

Sorry to read about the skint knees Benben. I hope it comforts you to read you've now paid off almost 5% of your target in just one week, and you're into the 70's, you're now at - tada - 74.18%! :j:j:j
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Woohoo GQ, thats fab, thankyou
:T
SavingMore ... You're right, they are toughy punishments but thats what he needs
After breakfast this morning he hasn't even mentioned the tv/dvd, he only likes it in the morning when he gets up and has his breakfast, after that he can take it or leave it.
I have booked him into holiday club for monday and tuesday and friday next week at his request, I think he's getting bored and misses having others to play with. I have childcare money set aside for it from my tax credits so its a win win really, he gets to play with others and I get to get stuff done
On monday and friday I'm planning on sorting out the rest of my drawers/cupboards in my room, and getting ready for a car boot on the sunday. On the tuesday I'm going shopping for some bits for the winter and meeting the ex again to discuss more stuff re. ds and the possible outcomes of ex's situation
Tomorrow we're going round to mums as my brother is coming up with my niece for the day, we'll probably take the kids to the ski centre again, they love it there

Evening, we have had a good day today, we went to the ski centre and ds and his cousin went on th ski bobs for an hour and were suitably worn out afterwards
Came home and had tea then went to the beach to watch some fireworks, they weren't that impressive but hey, it was free
Not sure what we have planned for tomorrow, not a lot so far I think. May try and get out for a walk somewhere, haven't done a lot in the way of walking or cycling recently.
Spends today = £2.80 on car parks.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
