Well done on keeping to the target. I am guessing that you will make it DESPITE what has happened with your OH.
Really glad that you are able to talk to your OH and that you were able to talk to DS about it. I think the honesty is very important and I am sure that he will be fine because of that.

Morning, another sunny one here
Todays plan involves; finishing birthday thankyou letters, food shopping (using £5 tesco voucher), baths, ironing, taking my aunt to a party at lunchtime, maybe out for a walk or on our bikes later too.
Still waiting for a bonus to be credited on the second offer, can't get started on it until then, it can take 48 hrs for it to be credited.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Woohoo, bonus is in
I've had my shower, now going to see if I can find some nice bets to put on before I get dressed

Taken aunt to her party and done tescos, spent £40 in there after the voucher. Ds had a meltodwn when we got back over absolutely nothing, he hit me with the remote control so has lost the tv for 24 hours as a consequence. He continued ignoring my insturctions to go to his room so has also lost a pile of his cars/buses too. He eventually calmed enough and went and got a ball of string (he has been helped at school by shredding string when he's angry), so I now have bits of string everywhere, but I don't mind if it will keep him calm

So, we now will be staying in this afternoon (for breaking a house rule), and theres no tv, so will be interesting to see how he fares
I have done the first couple of bets for the big offer but have now been limited to small amounts on each game, so am crossing my fingers that the result goes my way this afternoon or it could take an awful lot of time and work to get through this offer

Hey BB,
Sorry to hear that DS had a meltdown, great idea about the string though.
It reminded me of something i saw on TV recently, (may have been on supernanny) where a young girl got to blow up a balloon then let it go (so it went whizzing around the room) to dispell her anger. Maybe this is something else to consider for DS?
Hope you have a better rest of the day.

Woohoo ... I bust out of the offer first time :j :j Making a nice profit of ....... £290
:T
:T I do believe that should finally see the back of the 2020's :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
So, now I need to decide whether to chuck it all in the pot, spend some, or what ... actually, I think I will chuck £200 in the pot and keep the other £90 for some new boots for the winter which I need for school

So, £1600 left to find between now and the end of the year for the mortgage pot; this includes 4 x mortgage capital payments = approx £920, 5 x isa payments = £250, £20 from halifax interest payments, so theres £1190 of it accounted for already
So, between now and new year I need to make another £410
I reckon I can do that
Who needs child maintenance payments anyhow??

Couldn't reisist a little update ....
Ebay £0 /£150,
Surveys £65 /£100,
Car Boot £0 / £50,
Matched Betting £335 / Games £200

I really need to get working on the ebay figure though, the car boot is pencilled in for a fortnights time (weather permitting). Yesterdays £60 profit was actually £90 but I only chucked £60 of it into the mortgage pot, the other £30 will be given to ds to buy lunch tomorrow when he goes out with his dad. I know I shouldn't do that, but I don't want him eating cheap junk (not that it will cost that much for lunch, but at least then they can have a nice day out).
My aunt also gave me £5 today towards petrol for driving her to several places recently. It was very kind of her but she insisted and wouldn't hear of me not taking it. I haven't added it to any pots just yet, may keep it in the car as emergency money in the glove box
