Wow you have got off to a great start with the MB. I have totally lost touch with all the offers. Last ones I did were the free WH inplay ones.

Need to find my motivation again:o

Has been one of those amazing weekends, just got lucky with a couple of decent offers for the start of the season, found some decent odds and was lucky that things went my way and I bust out of both of them nice and early :D:D It feels like its been a long time since I chucked a decent sum at the pot, it seems to have been lots of dribs and drabs for quite a while so it feels great to have made a big dent, in fact, with the isa payment going out in a few days time I should hopefully be free of December 2019 soon too :)

Ironings done and all put away, ds is showered and in clean pj's :) Now just waiting to see if my aunt calls for a lift home from her party before ds is in bed.

This evening will be spent having a nice bath and an early night, and for once won't be spent looking to fill in surveys / make some pennies, I think, having made £380 in the last 24 hours I can give myself a night off :D

Morning all :) Ds is spending today with his dad (near here, not at his house), and I'm meeting crouchy for a coffee to talk ...

Not much else planned, I didn't sleep well, the rain was loud, then the thunder, then ds snoring kept me awake  so I may have a lazy half an hour curled up on the sofa later :D

I too have a day to myself, think I am going to give my finances a good spring clean. Might even have a mosey on over to Flylady too....

Benben, I expect you have remembered but just in case, I think your mobile phone reclaim is due about now.

This makes me sound like a stalker,:rotfl: but I'm not, it's just we got phones about the same time and I have got to send off my claim for £60 on the 15th of this month - will help you reach your target :)

Thankyou LB, I sent mine off about a month ago and received the cheque, next ones due to be sent in October I think (its in my diary), but thank you anyhow for the reminder :):)

I've had a nice day today, met up with Crouchy for a good chat, went for a pub lunch together, sorted out a few bits and we're back to being good mates again :) He also took several photos of me, 'before' ones so I can compare them with me in several weeks/months time when the diets been a success ;):D

Ds got home about an hour ago, all's fine there, he's been out playing with the kid from next door ever since and came in about ten minutes ago. This evening I am going to clean the bathroom and then see how the mood takes me, I may do some more or I may chill.

    I've also made a decision re. my holiday to do list ... seeing as we're hurtling towards the half way mark in the holidays and I haven't even published one on here yet, I have decided instead to do a summarised version of what I want to achieve this holiday;
    • Make £500 for the mortgage pot
    • Lose half a stone
    • Gut all cupboards/drawers in the flat
    • Deep clean the flat
    • Clean the carpets
    • Gut the garage
    • Sort birthday presents needed for the rest of the year
    • Cycle 100 miles
Well I'm well on track with the first one :D The second one starts right here, now that the trial is out the way. I will be going back to ww on wednesday, but according to my bathroom scales I am 11 st 7lbs  so I am wanting to get that back to 11 stone by the time we go back to school. The flat / garage related ones are ongoing, I can do bits and pieces towards them each day, the birthday presents one isn't as major as it sounds; I have 4 main birthdays left between now and New Year, so I want to get the presents sorted before iI go back to school so I haven't got to be worrying about them as well as xmas (sorry for mentioning that word already :)). The cycling one will help with the weightloss, its something ds loves doing, its free and seemed like a good target to aim for. So far we have only been out once and done about 6 miles, so a long way to go with that one yet :o
