Benben, when ds has a bad day being wound up, how long does it take for him to calm down? Only reason I'm asking is that I had training at school recently and we were using one of our children as the example. He gets wound up easily and we've been told that you can't ask him why he has reacted badly for approx 40 mins as it takes this time for his head to get itself back together iykwim! It's something to do with adrenalin and I think a hormone that's based at the lower part of the neck iirc.
Hope you've both had a good day today xxx0 -
