Hmm, ds had a big meltdown last night which involved throwing a vase of flowers all over the floor
Suffice to say we're not going to the football this afternoon anymore
He did wake up in a grump this morning too but sorted it before his drama session which I was pleased about as its still a trial period and he loved it last week. Anyway, he loved it again today and has come out in a good mood
We went and picked Mum up and brought her over here for a change of scenery for her, she's just taken ds to the park so I have whizzed round and got a few bits crossed off my list

Hi Ben Ben sorry to hi jack your thread but need some advice on what to do.
I remember my sister buying me a small red vase about 2 - 3 years ago. kept it in the spare room for ages just doing nothing. Woman at work suddenly died and her sister who also works with us did a sort of bring and buy so i sent the vase. That was about 6 months ago.
i get a call out of the blue from my sister today saying oh you know the vase i gave you can i buy it off you as need it for my new decoration theme. She will know that i dont use it as when she comes over she will look for it. i said i think it may be in the loft to which she said oh can you get it down for me.
What on earth am I going to do. Bearing in mind my sister is very fussy on presents that are bought for her and will take it back for a refund if she doesnt like it i would never do this - hence giving the vase away.
Has anyone any good advice please.

Aah, I hate awkward ones like that PL, that was one of the good things when the crim left me - I was able to get rid of all the nasty ornaments his parents had given us that I'd had to display so I didn't offend anyone
Hmm, would your other half possibly go along with saying that you asked him to check in the loft and he fessed up to accidentally breaking it a while ago??
or could you say another friend asked where you got it from as it matched their colour scheme, so you gave it to them? or could you just claim ignorance and say you have checked the loft and are lost as to where its got to but once you find it you will let her have it?? and then hope she forgets about it?? Sorry not to be able to help much, I'm rubbish at things like that
