Benben, glad you know about it - I was a bit rambly!

PL - are you going to apply for there or are you looking at the other schools in town? We're going to get a new deputy head for infants in sept - the current one is retiring and shes one of the reception teachers! Don't forget that if you are going to go back to work, then you need to consider your c/care options! Have you found a c/minder for LO yet?

    Sorry for hijacking thread Benben.

Hi no we are dead set on High Down for school. When I return to work hopefully Hubbie and I will go part time as he doesnt feel that Lo is ready yet for a childminder. And I dont think he wants to leave him at this stage as he is development age of only 2.

PL -I have to say that the infants are good. Good luck with the funding, although given the history, I take it's pretty much a given that you'll get it. Will it be there for when he does nursery in september or are you going to keep him at s/board for that year. I think that place is great - I really like Jo and I've also chatted to Yvonne several times as she used to bring her daughter to our swimming pool for lessons.

We've had a lovely day today, although have spent quite a bit ...
We went on the bus (all day tickets = £5.60) to ds drama session, then went on various other buses for a couple of hours, came home and had lunch then got another bus to meet some friends and went ice-skating. I watched (I can't skate) and ds went on with them and clung to one of the penguins, but after about 20 minutes he decided to let go of it and gingerly edged his way around the side, then another 5 minutes of that and he was off doing it properly :j :j I was sooooo proud of him :D:D

After that we got the bus back then went to visit mum and dad. Dad was totally barking again, finally we got home at about 9pm. I haven't stopped sneezing all day and generally feel quite pants :o

Other spends today = £27 on ds uniform for drama club , £9 in ice-skating and drinks, £4 in the pound shop on envelopes, coat hangers beechams fluplus capsules and something else that I've forgotten already, £5.50 in Superdrug on various bits and pieces that were reduced in the sale, and £8 in tesco express on milk, weetabix, shreddies etc.

Tigz - Sorry for not replying again, my battery keeps conking out on my phone, the thursday or friday are both free as far as I know, let me know which is good with you. And tell me more about your chats with Crouchy ;) Maybe we'll all meet up and go geocaching :D

Sounds like a good day (apart from you sneezing!). Well done to ds on skating - we went just before Christmas and my oldest boy fell 37 times! He did keep a smile on his face though.

Morning all, my cold has fully come out now and I feel pretty rubbish this morning, today is hopefully going to mainly be an indoor day. A few bits crossed off the list yesterday but they were the easy bits, today is housework and jobs day.

I'm looking forward to getting the banking sorted, see where I am for the end of the month and start planning the new month. Have a think everyone for Februarys targets on the weoghtloss front too please :)
