Well done everyone on the weigh-ins, the sun is shining here so we may be out and about a bit later, but it really does lift my mood when you don't wake up to dark drizzly cold mornings
Just done a qualifying bet, free bet should be applied tomorrow.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Going to join in the weight loss... i have 10lbs to lose (but as i am small that is quite a lot - or looks a huge amount on my thighs)... started on Tuesday and lost a 1lb... decided to do the atkins for 2 weeks which gives me a huge boost.... the new atkins is much better as you eat vegetables (well some of them) so i am eating 'fairly' healthily but heh it is a 2 week kickstart which is what i need.
shred warning: i started doing it a while ago, got really into it and liked it as much as i have liked any exercise:eek: but although healthy and fit, i hurt my knee and one year on it still hurts a bit, so do be careful! i daren't do it anymore and just walk (well think about walking!)
hoping this weight challenge with you all will keep me on track....0 -
Been to the bank and paid in my cheques and bagged up £12 from my penny pot, so will add that to my total :T Ds posted off a thankyou letter to his dad too, got 3 more of those to get written today too.
We stopped at the bakers on the way back and ds got an iced ring dough nut and I was very good and somehow resisted, I just kept visualising JillianSo, spends (doughnut and rolls) = £1.20.

Glad you mentioned the penny pot - I thought I'd have a lok in mine and have bagged up £20:beer: (I do have 5p coins as well as coppers) - very pleased with that;)
Well done on resisting the donut...I bought my 2 chocolate iced ring donuts yesterday and didn't get myself one. Maybe the Crunchie in the evening that I did have kind of cancels out my goodness:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Glad to have helped Pixiechick, I'm just making some butternut squash soup for lunch and we're having roast chicken later for dinner. Shred will be done tonight as ds has all his cars and lorries out all over the lounge floor at the moment, so I will leave him to play merrily for now
The place is looking fairly tidy now but needs a good clean, beds changing, ironing done etc ... hopefully I can get it all sorted today do that tomorrow we can go out somewhere nice for a good walkMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Just to add that I normally weigh in on a Monday but, having had a couple weeks where I've taken the diet easy, had a sneaky look this morning and have actually lost two pounds!!
A long way to go but my routine for the New Year will hopefully settle down soon. Only went to the gym twice last week and even then, was only operating at 80% of usual oomph, so this week will see me well and truly back on the diet horse.
Congratulations to everyone who has lost, or maintained, this week....:T
And BB, foam bananas?? Wow, how nice are they?? :rotfl:0
