Crap crap day .... ds has gone off the rails yet again at school, almost excluded but the headteacher said she knows it will do no good as he'd be happier with that anyway, am so so so fed up right now, just dont see any way of this improving, he's going to end up being permanently excluded soon ... I dread taking him out anywhere, I am ashamed of the way he behaves, I'm just sooo fed up right now
and then, last night I was awake from 2.45am stressing about him, am shattered now, had to wait up for tesco order to arrive (ate half a pack of bourbons while waiting ), then when it finally came they didnt have any tortilla wraps (for tomorrows packed lunch for ds) and didnt send a substitute either so now I have nothing for his packed lunch   Have sent a snotty email to them, I also ordered butternut squash and courgettes (neither came, no substitutes either) and a bag of cauli / carrot / broccoli and that didnt come so they sent soup mix instead
Beyond fed up tonight, am off to bed now, maybe i'll wake up in a better mood

Oh Benben that is so difficult.
DO you think changing schools would help?
What does he say about school?
Is it serious enough for Education otherwise?
If you want to ask me anything feel free to pm me
Big hugs mate

Sorry to hear you've had a s*** day, BB. Not sure I can offer anything in the way of advice and comfort but didn't want to "read and run"....0

So sorry to hear about DS. Have you been able to work out what has set him off this time. If there isn't anything obvious, then that must be really hard.
And as for the home delivery, well I would be expecting a substantial monetary sorry for that !!!! up, especially the soup mix for fresh veg.....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hey BB,
Popping out of lurkdom again as i did not want to read and run.
Hope that today is a better day all round. How are things going with DS and his cahms? I just wondered as from experience (close friend going through something similar) i think schools respond better to an "official" diagnosis"?
Does DS get any support at school, 1 on 1 or otherwise? Have you spoken to him about what happened this time? I know my friends DS has struggled with the routine of school again, after over 2 weeks of fun Christmas holidays.
Please try not to get despondent, yeah i know, easier said than done. But you ARE doing a fabulous job with DS without much support around you, so remember that "these" bad days are allowed and you would not be human if you did not get down about it all at times.
We're here if you need to rant, and if i can help in any way please let me know.
Mostly, take care of yourself.

This ^^^^^ is a lovely response.
Sorry to hear that ds has had a bad day. My friend's son had similar problems at school (he has Aspergers) and he now home schools. Is this an option for you? I'm sorry I can't be much more help as I don't know much about this. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
