Would incur extra fees changing to BIN and with 30 watchers let it run with your morals and credibility with Eb*y intact:) BTW let us kow how you get on I will apologise now if you only get £50 for it:eek:
End at lunchtime tomorrow, so I'll let you know (and no need for any apologies, no matter what it sells for - my decision!).
(Sorry for the 'slight' hijack of your thread, Moo!)

Ebay update! Washing machine sold for just shy of £100, so clearing just under £90 after fees (annoyingly buyer paid through PayPal despite making it clear I'd prefer cash, though is collecting within the hour fingers crossed) - I'm happy
! I sometimes insist on paying through PayPal to get the buyer protection, and cashback from TopCashBack! Hope everyone's enjoying this soggy Sunday. I'm glad I did a couple of bits in the garden yesterday rather than saving them for today.

Glad to hear it sold:) I have refunded people in the past and insisted on cash when they are collecting.

Yep - you get a percentage of EBay's fees, so long as you're buying in certain categories. I've PM'd you my referral link, in case you're not already a member, and to save hijacking Moo's thread any longer!Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
Hi Moo,
Well Trying to Be Good, £90.00 is more than you had before you sold it (trying to look on the bright side)
Your weekend Moo sounds tiring and makes me want a cup of tea before I start doing anything! Hope you managed to get most outside things done yesterday when the weather was nice. So far today I don't think it has stopped raining, the dogs just look at me like I am mad for suggesting a walk......Just keep swimming!0 -
Teeny further update then I PROMISE not to mention it again - the nice people came and collected the washing machine and bought the old fridge freezer that was also stood in the garage - £80 cash! The sun shines on the righteous!Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0

Hijack away, its more interesting than anything thats happened here this weekend.
£19 Cheque from Music Magpie arrived, £30 spent on a weeks worth of shopping at Aldi, £20 on riding lessons and today was spent at a model boat exhibition. In between all these exciting events I've cleaned the bathroom again, mopped all the floors and cleared the laundry pile. Am now in full blown nag mode as I attempt to persuade DD1 to do her tediously dull looking homework which involves writing a newpaper article on the baptism of Jesus. He arrived, got wet and left. Riveting.
Almost as riveting as the hound from hell presenting the postman with the OHs disgustingly dirty undies at eveball level as she stood on the gate for a fuss or the maddly waggy tail and slobbery jaws after I juggled a sausage roll which landed on the floor causing much confusion. Anything shes given is for her. Anything in her dish is for her but flying food from the work surface is clearly a grey area. Its not for eating but neither does one give up a sausage roll... cue dog running round the kitchen with an uneaten sausage roll for five minutes before finally exchanging it for a dog chew.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

I am guessing this is RE ( or what ever the current terminology is at the moment) homework - my DD2 had some great RE homework to do over the Christmas holidays - the Holocaust. I think the teacher could have chosen a better time to set itBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

and so what should have been just another dull day in mooland becomes a slightly more interesting one.
I had a routine outpatient appointment which should have resulted in a new and improved DIY dental treatment plan involving any more minature brushes and implements of unfathomable usage by a contortionist has instead ended up with appointments for four surgical procedures each of an hours duration, the first of which is scheduled for 2 months time with a follow up the week after to remove the stitches from inside my mouth. Quite how I'm supposed to eat or clean my teeth is a bit of a grey area but apparently I can drive myself there and after a drink and something to eat I can drive myself home again. Considering I passed out halfway down the stairs after having a root canal I'm thinking this is perhaps not the greatest idea in the world.
Came home via the wool emporium where I splurged just a little.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
